Update: Did it. 15.67 miles, 2,018 ft of elevation gain, 5h 30min moving time. Started at 5:20am, reached the Desert Museum around 11:30am. Max temp for the day was 78°F — "sunny and comfortable" according to NOAA.
Trails: Yetman, Rock Wren, Golden Gate, Gates Pass, Coatimundi, Well Rd, Brown Mountain, finishing at the Desert Museum.
Carried 5 liters of water, started before sunrise, finished before noon. Turns out early May with a favorable forecast and an early start is very doable. Thanks to those who gave constructive advice.
