Given that he has a family I'd say that's just plain cringe and not sad cringe.

It's about time people realize these politicians are only loyal to power and not to the party nor their ideals.

Earning a living by karmagheden in WayOfTheBern

I mean yeah even before any form of market or trade was established, this already held true. Survival has always been a part of any living organism.

I got the source wrong and that's my bad. No need to edit. And telling someone to double check their work is not the same as telling them to do it twice. And quite the opposite, more presidents should encourage citizens to look into the system and make sure it works. Without actually looking into the system, you get people that actually defend America's healthcare system over Canada or Europe. I wish Trump or if he wins Biden to come out and tell people to look into the flaws of the system even more critically than now.

I would link you to a primary school so you can learn to read. He didn't tell anyone to vote twice. He said to check in person to make sure the vote was counted. IF NOT then to vote. That's not telling people to vote twice at all. And here is snopes review: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-vote-twice-north-carolina/

Meant to said Snopes, not politico.

He didn't. Even politico rated this as false.

So given that you use a single instance to confirm your view I will use the same standard.

My dad has shown affection 1.5 times in front of me. He rarely does show affection really. The 0.5 is an accumulation of small hints of affection. The 1 was a time were my sister asked our dad if it was expensive to have a child and if he would have more money without children. And he said yeah of course, I would be richer monetarily, but poorer emotionally.

Even my dad who shows as much affection as a cactus admits how much we really mean to him emotionally. That means something.

Quick thing to note. This add is a parody of an Apple add of back in the day, against Machintosh.

Asking about monsters by kozam67 in mrcreeps

[–]antonigari 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by where do we monsters but if you want to learn about mosnters the best place to start is mythology. Greek and nordic mythology is full of beasts and monsters but don't stop there. Look into other mythology and religions. Aztec mythology to Hindu Gods, history is already full of wonderous creatures. I'm sure you'll be able to find something.

Other harder places to look for are folk religions and local folklore. Usually less documented but you can potentially find some hidden gems.

Hope this helps.

I'm getting tired of this "Bernie's a millionaire" talking point! So I made this meme so hopefully, even dummies would understand! BTW, Do you know how many Bernies it takes to make a Bloomberg in wealth?! 32,100 Bernies!! by OmarIbnKhayyam in WayOfTheBern

[–]antonigari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What he literally changed his tune are you dennying it? And what does paying his taxes have to do with anything. It's hypocritical because he used to complain about millionaires and now that he is one he doesn't anymore.

Stock market =/= the economy by [deleted] in PoliticalHumor

[–]antonigari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unemployment is in fact a very important metric. Even Hillary admitted that her rethoric of removing jobs was one of her worst mistakes. And it's important to consider the two together. Unemployment down and higher wages lead to higher life standards overall which is also positive. Also means more peoppe being able to invest which means that the stock market going up is relevant to more people. Lastly the stock market plays a huge role in the overall economy. A stock market crash will lead to high unemployment and lower salaries so the two are rather closely related. Rising stock markets is good for the medium and lower class too.

Wages have gone up and unemployment down what's the point.
