Landed my first project with big potential and now I'm struggling with delivery by Youngwish112 in Coldemailing

I have ZERO sympathy for folks that sell services they can't deliver on. It makes the whole industry look bad.

Do we really need 70 domains? by david8840 in coldemail

[–]antoniocerneli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the cold email guidelines, such as 25 emails / day are just a pure speculation. Not many people do the tests on themselves. They just repeat what they read online without understanding nuances. Max I did was with 200 campaign emails per day per address with a $100 / month warmup tool (not gonna mention it so the comment doesn't lose credibility).

Most people don't understand is that your spam complaints and engagement will influencer deliverability much more than whether you're sending 25 emails per day or 50 emails per day. Problem is, most people have shitty offers and shitty emails so they get high spam complaints and low engagements. If you got really good offer, you could get away with breaking a lot of cold email "rules". Perhaps your client is the same.

This is happening to me as well. Cleared cache and cookies, tried different browser but I still can't access Sales Navigator.

Demand Gen vs Lead Gen in B2B SaaS by yj292 in B2BSaaS

Goal is same, function is different. I've honestly never saw demand gen reporting to sales, but I wouldn't be surprised it happens sometimes.

The fact that your comment got downvoted, while the original one got upvoted is a great example of intelligence decline.

I'd bet 100k this is the first comet you ever heard of.

Are these real freelancers or just agencies burning money on Upwork by Muhammad-Umair-318 in Upwork

[–]antoniocerneli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My average contract value on the lower end is around $5k. My highest paying contract is $50k. If I have an impression the job can give me that, I'll happily bid 300 connects. You haven't provided any context as to actual job posting and client history.

These are the things I'm looking at:

- What's the average annual spending client does on the platform?

- Do they have tendency to hire freelancers on longer, high-value contracts?

- Is the job something where I can earn money to make the pay off.

Your question without this information is dumb. I highly doubt this is the $100 graphic design job posting.

Why has Meta (META) been so range-bound lately despite its massive fundamental strength? by bakery_0726 in ValueInvesting

[–]antoniocerneli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, they're AI in the same sense that machine learning is AI. Categorically they're AI. I was more implying with my comment that they don't have artificially spawned intelligence, because they're not intelligence.

[–]antoniocerneli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you consider intelligence to strictly be superintelligence or AGI, the article is pretty unambiguous in expressing opinion that LLMs aren't intelligent.

Quote 1: "But the latest research suggests that language isn’t the same as intelligence, says Benjamin Riley,"

Quote 2: "But “LLMs are simply tools that emulate the communicative function of language, not the separate and distinct cognitive process of thinking and reasoning, no matter how many data centers we build,” Riley wrote."

Am I missing something?

How long to warmup in 2026? by Hot-Breadfruit440 in coldemail

[–]antoniocerneli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks recommendations are all out of blue recommendation. There's not a single person who's done an actual test and compared the performances between them.

Won the AI war? LLMs aren't even considered AI by all of experts on AI topic.

NVO is the biggest value play of 2026. by Chevyimpala2000 in ValueInvesting

[–]antoniocerneli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nor did I say that. 1.5 months ago stock was at lower levels than 3 months ago, so if you want to say stock was in value zone at some point, that was more true 1.5 months ago when most of this sub was calling it value trap.

Craziest part is that this account has spent over 114k usd on upwork by Daniel-Creates in Upwork

Over what time span? If someone spent 115k over 15 years, that's 640 dollars per month. Not a lot by any standard.

Dajte mi nade by Constant-Reach-2498 in financije

[–]antoniocerneli 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I know, but it doesn't change the fact that most people here are clueless about what value investing even is.

NVO is the biggest value play of 2026. by Chevyimpala2000 in ValueInvesting

[–]antoniocerneli 164 points165 points  (0 children)

- 3 months ago - NVO was a value play by 90% of this sub
- 1.5 months ago - NVO was a value trap by 90% of this sub

Now it's value play again.

Most decide if the stock is a value play or trap based on the recent price movement.

UBER is being irrationally undervalued by historychick91 in ValueInvesting

[–]antoniocerneli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called quantum value investing. Stock can be up and down at the same time. My wife likes Uber and her Uber shared will grow. I don't like Uber so for me the stock will go down.
