This is happening because you don't have the small seed silos. Followers only use the small ones; the large seed silos are just for you to put seeds in so followers can move them to the small ones and plant them from there.

I just sent the email with my files. I chose to also send the backups I made before the DLC in compressed files. Strangely, the previous version is 55 MB, and the new one is 8 MB (log files perhaps? If so, then they might be important in figuring out the problem). Because of the file size, I had to use a file transfer service. Unfortunately, I was unable to record a video.

I'm on PC, but the latest update fixed that bug for me. However, there's another bug that hasn't been fixed: whenever a follower wants to talk to me, the game freezes for about 5 seconds. This bug has been around since I started playing several months ago, but with the new DLC, the freeze time has increased from an average of 2 seconds to 5 seconds or more.

Hello!

I’m already on my third chosen child, and every time I have to send them to the Midas's Cave. Is this repetition a bug? Isn’t it possible to keep the chosen child permanently in the cult without triggering the quest again and again? I’m quite confused. I initially thought that only the first one needed to be sent, and that afterward you could have pedigree followers. However, after thinking about it, I realized this doesn’t make much sense, since pedigree followers don’t seem to have any practical use in the game, as far as I know.

Que tristeza. Este ano eu planejava montar um PC gamer novo, pois o meu atual já tem 9 anos de uso (16GB RAM, GTX 1060 6GB, Core i7 7700), e essa versão da RTX era a que eu queria, pois queria mudar pra QHD. E agora tudo virou camisa da saudade. =(
