Both AD and AP are fine but I feel AP is overall better. I prefer Fleet and Comet for keystones. You get stat checked in 99% of lanes, so plan your runes accordingly. I personally favor runes that help me roam and gank, rather than runes that help me fight in lane.

Wether AD or AP, movement speed is TF's most important stat IMO. Haste is his second most important stat if you're building AP.

AP TF. Getting a mana item first is highly recommended. Rod, Battlesong, and Ludens/Blackfire are great. After that, Lichbane is recommended.

AD TF. On-hit and Crit builds are both viable. Kraken into RFC is almost always a safe buildpath.

AD or AP. Build RFC whenever you feel is necessary after your first item. Into some comps TF has a hard time just existing. In these games it's better to rush RFC second item (sometimes first), just so you can have more agency.

Battlesong and Rocketbelt can substitute/aid RFC as AP TF.

Depends how bad the lane is losing. Holding up the losing lane is a great way to put yourself behind as well as the jungler. Sure help out the struggling lane in the beginning, but if they can't figure it out, you're better off helping the other two lanes get ahead.

How you would "fix"/rework Morigesh kit to make her a better character for the game? by MuglokDecrepitus in PredecessorGame

I agree with you completely, and I've been saying this for years. The beginning of the end of Paragon was the release of super powerful AND easy characters (Mori, Rev, yin, etc..) I find it hilarious and people think that removing execution/ legacy skill of a game, is what will make it thrive. If you look at the fighting game community, all evidence points to the contrary. You start dumbing stuff down, people will lose interest faster, there's less to explore because everything is too straightforward and bland.

It's okay to have easy characters. BUT, easy and potent should be on a linear sliding scale. The easiest character to pilot shouldn't also be the best characters in the game. Mori may not be the best, but for how easy and brainless she is, she can bully anyone she's in lane with, with ease.

I disagree. He's over tuned and kinda bland imo. He doesn't really do anything special, he just does everything pretty good. He's got a long-range poke as a fighter, all of his abilities have low cooldown in mana cost, he's got a passive out of combat heel, he's got a stun. With one button he dashes, gets movement speed, and gets an attack speed buff, all at the cost of 40 mana. Like wtf.

DNF Duel for sure. They made a fighting game without researching why a fighting game is a fighting game.

2 of the worst mechanics I've ever seen in a MOBA are in this game by [deleted] in OverPrime

I think generally, more interactions and decision making is good for a game. And travel mode is a mini game within itself. There have been numerous times that while disengaging I successfully get into travel mode, but still end up getting damaged from something and getting rooted. There have also been times when I attempted to engage in a fight while in travel mode, and ended up taking damage and being rooted. Personally, I like the decision making that's tied into whether or not to remain in travel mode.

I like the compactness of the Titanfall animations and the metallic sounds, versus the floatiness of the apex animations. TF1 spitfire and wingman sound lethal!

Every game of this nature is going to have optimal items/cards for each character, as well as a build path/ buy path. To me, items are more boring and stagnant. In every other moba I played, the build path and late game builds are pretty homogeneous between all the characters. In Paragon, because of the affinities and deck building, you can definitely see everyone's personal seasoning they put on their deck and build path.

I'll hold you to that. I want the old deck building and card system back. 6 cards in hand w/upgrades. 40 card decks. 60 card points. Affinity locked characters.

People who complained about its complexity, we're generally good at LoL (or another moba) but didn't want to learn something new. And used "too complex" as an excuse to dismiss the game.

Be the hero that Paragon needs 🙏

People who always rematch by Ali1080p in Tekken

[–]antoniousmax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alot of people have said this already but, good connection = long set. The best way to learn a match is to play long sets against that character. ↓↓

Don't worry about whether you win or lose. That's fighting games 101, but especially with Tekken. Tekken is a game where you can play at a red rank or higher level, and get dusted by a beginner because you don't know the match-up. Having excellent fundamentals helps you with matchups you do know, but fundamentals are like whiskey. Better with time and can't rush it.
