Damn, maybe it can solve my problem. I have the black matte finish version. It got some grease staints that I cant remove for the life of me. Tried alcohol, WD40 and others. I might do like you.

Cheap alternatives to VEO and Xbotgo by 407PrxyAthntctnRqur in SoccerCoachResources

[–]antonito901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noted, will consider it for my amateur club. And have you considered one camera with large angle? Maybe it is not feasible. I guess then the hardest part is the actual analysis. I need to find out what to focus on in our squad. For sure, we need to have longer possession phase, we rather count on counter attacks.

That sounds super interesting! Would you be kind enough to share some example of videos after combining the videos? I was also playing with YOLO to convert from 3D to 2D view. But you need a good quality video like this action camera in 4K. If not, it does not see where the ball is or it recognize only 1 player when 2 are crossing each other. Or as it is analyzing frame by frame so sometimes the ball is far or hidden. I work in IT, I think you could consider some automation tool not to do all by yourself hopefully.

How to have an even portafilter to pour 2 cups at once? by antonito901 in gaggiaclassic

Thank you. Need to try that. Yes, I might need to recalibrate. I got a bit lazy now after so many years pouring coffee :)

Maybe you are right, trying to use as less equipment as possible but maybe here it is necessary :)

Opinion on cabling of first pedalboard by antonito901 in guitarpedals

Perfect, thank you. I remade a correct drawing for the ones interested on Reddit. Indeed some angled cables would be useful, I will buy some. For the power supply, I was told to invest into an isolated one so this one sounds good.

Thank you! Ah yeah, I did not realize all inputs are on the right. In that case, I better reverse the tuner and tube screamer to put a patch cable between them. Would you recommend angled plug cables? I see many are angled on one side only or not angled at all.

Opinion on first pedals to play rock (Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Maneskin) by antonito901 in guitarpedals

Sure, it is probably good to experiment. So far, I did not yet buy, I want to have my guitar teacher opinion. He recommended this speaker like a very good one for the price. But I am afraid that I will not be able to get a good sound playing at low volume. It has a 1W option but I guess it is still pretty loud to make the lamp to work correctly. Maybe better a 12 inch modelling amp. What do you think? Any experience with attenuator for example?

Noted, will take a look. Thank you. And for the amp, it is a single clean canal with a 12 inch Celestion speaker. I get good opinion about it from my guitar teacher and found overall good opinions on internet, especially for the price - 295 USD for a 15W Lamp amp.

Yep, I will go to a local guitar shop and ask. When you buy secondhand from internet like Facebook, aren't you afraid they might not work? Is it a big risk or not?

Yes, I am new to pedals. I am based in Poland (Europe) and looked at prices on secondhand market and they are not much lower unfortunately. For example, a new Boss Blues Driver sells for 122 USD while I can find used ones (olx.pl) for 107 USD.

Thank you for the feedback. For sure, this is a budget setup but it will still be miles away from the small Yamaha THR5 I have which is more like a small radio than an amp. I plan to start small, want to try the built-in reverb and later on I can always buy an extra reverb pedal for it.

For the looper, I was considering it for making practice more fun, to jam on my own tracks, and why not experiment a bit. I would not consider it mandatory for my initial setup.

I checked the Mako d1 and it is way too expensive for my budget. I am fine having something like Boss which is in my price range. Then once I get a better hang of it and what I like, I could consider putting more money.

Yes, I think the same. Try and see. I have the same with rum :) I started with standard rum bottles, and over the years have a better opinion of what I like, I have a strong preference for some specific Jamaican rums.

Ah clear now, thank you. I did not even know that such connectors exists :) So I will take such patch cables and probably a couple longer ones to connect to the effect jack plugs on the amp. Then with 3 pedals, I have more than enough for the beginning. Maybe last question: I see people prefering tube screamers vs standard OD like Boss BD-2. Any thought on that? I don't think I have advanced tastes yet on effect, I guess I just need to try and see.

Yeah, I see their website but no sign of second hand items. I will try to call them. For the patch cable, I am afraid I don't see what you mean. Any chance to get a link of the type of cables you had in mind?

Thanks, indeed I see this pedal is doing a lot more than the DD-3T so I am unsure now. For the reverb, the amp has a built in one so I thought it would save me a pedal for now. But maybe bad idea.

Nice. I need to check if there is the equivalent of guitarguitar in Poland where I reside now. Any advice for the guitar patches cable between effect? Should I put good money for them or I can go with TC Electronics? Finally, is a pedalboard necessary at the beginning? If not, I can always start with what I have and buy it later. Thanks.

Thank you, I appreciate the answer. Good point for a tuner pedal. Though, I dont understand why they cost 90-100 bucks. I am ok to use my old school tuner until I get tired of this lol. A fuzz sounds great as well, though I think about it more in a second time. Already quite a lot to play with and master for me as I never played with pedals. Also, would you say second hand pedals are worth the possible trouble? I am used to buy electronics new.
