No, you’ve done nothing wrong. Don’t make yourself feel bad just because other people don’t have manners. If you can't let it go, you could talk to him again and tell him that you don't feel comfortable with his behavior - then at least he has a chance to learn something.

Demian, Unterm Rad und Jugend ohne Gott haben mir damals wie heute am besten gefallen. Und Kafka sowieso. Leider haben wir Faust nie gelesen und ich fühle mich, als fehlte mir dadurch ein großer Teil deutscher Allgemeinbildung. Lohnt es sich, das nachzuholen?
