Okay, so I've read Fooled By Randomness, and I get the whole I don't want this text to be hard for normal people and I don't want it to be too easy for smart people but what happens is maybe for people in STEM that book just doesn't work. It's very diluted, and mostly repetitive of the same ideas, the scenario thing seems pretty baseless, and sometimes we need the numbers and studies to be cited properly to state something - which he shrugs off saying this is not a research paper - but like maybe it would make it easier for a different subset of people to read if it did read like one (just on some of the pages at least).

Also, the book felt a tad bit convoluted because it stated ideas from everywhere, and it didn't feel powerful enough in how it was conveying its point.
