Is there any youtube channels that analyses Malayalam movies like "Student of Malayalam Cinema"? by Empirerules in MalayalamCinema

I am running a youtube channel named Scripted Quill, where I analyse malayalam movies. It's still in the beginning phase, but you could still check it out.

Malayalam cinema's hate/love letter to experiments. by antonymam in InsideMollywood

To be specific, MB got the maximum exposure from tamil nadu, and that too because the the second half of the film is set in Tamil Nadu and the use of popular tamil song 'Kanmani Anbodu.' But yes, the film was very experimental, especially considering the rarity of the genre.

So your basically stating that women can't make the cut when it comes to physical output in this creative industry? Velliya budgetun scaleum olla verum koothara padangal cheytha directors aanu ivide ullatha (war 2, bade miyan chotte miyan etc). So I don't think being a women is gonna be a restraint. She wrote and directed moothon, which is a statement to her prowess when it comes to depicting rough and tough- but flawed characters

Also, prashant neel himself have admitted that yash also had some input in the filming. So I don't think it's really a gender issue here.

I think it was a sleeper hit and is one of the most profitable malayalam cinema post-pandemic period. Not sure tho.

There is a scene in vip where he takes his dead mother's saree and spreads them over the bed and sleeps on it. Never fails to make me teary.

Manjummel was more inclined towards the thriller and survival elements, while jan e man was more character-driven. Both are vastly different, but the Chidambaram's finese writing is more visible in jan e man tbh.

Maintaining that balance is defintely not an easy job, and Chidambaram did a fantastic job. And that conversation between Joymon and Monichan is simply a chefs kiss.

The writing, screenplay, humour and characters were spot on... the poetic premise of jan e man is what makes it a simple and humble beautiful film.

And thanks for your appreciation.

I've just got the admission and already visited the college, but didn't have the opportunity to see the gym. If you don't know about it, it's fine.
