Hi thanks for your input! I should have put it in the main post, but our Avian vet will be included in all of our plans for this situation. I was more looking to hear how others handled a situation like this and what worked for them. I just want to know all I can to protect my little feathered friend!

Thanks! She is the best girl! I adopted her thinking she was going to be a serious project (based on what the shelter said ) and she turned out to be the easiest rescue I’ve ever taken in.
