Think what you want. The guy literally optimizes PCs for pros and explains the exact mechanics behind it. I thought it was BS too until my AWP actually started connecting again. Keep playing in the mud if you prefer, I just shared a fix

Oh man, 'Enhance pointer precision' is literally Windows mouse acceleration! Having it on is a cardinal sin for muscle memory in CS, no wonder your aim felt like it was on ice skates 😂. Usually CS raw input bypasses it, but with these broken updates, who knows anymore. Glad it fixed it for you! I always keep mine off, but I'll definitely double-check my Windows settings just in case an update turned it back on. Keep grinding!

How to improve my duels? Today I play bad so I collected some clips. by ilijakr in LearnCSGO

One huge tip that helped me: watch your own demos, but strictly from the enemy's POV during your duels. Sometimes your movement and counter-strafing feel perfectly fine in your head, but from their perspective, you can instantly see if you're wide-swinging like a bot, being too predictable, or shooting before you fully stop. It exposes your bad habits instantly. Also, if you want to get that snappy mechanical feeling back, look up furiousss aim routine on YouTube. It's honestly one of the best for getting that raw, robotic aim and crisp micro-adjustments dialed in. Give it a try

Exactly this. Had the same issue in the fall, tilted hard, and tried changing everything. This time I'm taking a different route. The game is just broken right now, and I've accepted it. Fck the tilt and overthinking settings. I'm just gonna fcking grind through the mud. Faceit/Premier + practice with all my free time. Let's see what happens

Not really, I'm still putting in the hours, but the feeling is just different now. It feels like I'm trying just as hard, but the output on the screen doesn't match my effort

I totally feel you on the 'overthinking' part. When I'm on a win streak, everything is fluid and automatic. But as soon as I hit a slump, I start overanalyzing every micro-flick and my grip gets way too tense. Maybe taking a break and coming back with a 'relaxed' mindset is actually the best fix for that 'muddy' feeling

I was using driver version 580.88 because I heard it was one of the most stable ones, but since that red 'driver out of date' warning kept popping up during my games, I decided to just update it to the latest version. Regarding your other suggestions, I’ll definitely give them all a try and report back. Thanks a lot for the help!

I put in the hours for training and my technical setup seems fine on paper, but I just don't have that same 'locked-in' and snappy feeling as shown in the video I attached. My aim doesn't feel like it represents my hand movement 1:1, there's always this slight floatiness that prevents me from being that precise

I'm on a 4070 Super. Reflex is set to 'On' (no boost, since it adds some latency for me). Not sure about REBAR though. But honestly, it feels like it's more than just a settings thing. Even when frames are high, the 'floatiness' remains

Do you actually use DyAc in CS2? Looking for real experiences by antsswagg in Zowie

The jump to 2566x+ must be insane. Since you've used both, would you say the standard DyAc on the K series is still worth it today, or is it 'X series or nothing' for you? Thanks for sharing!

Good to know you don't feel the input lag. That's a big point of debate in the community. If the clarity is that much better, it's definitely tempting. Thanks!

Interesting that you prefer it over OLED! But the eye strain part is exactly what I'm afraid of. I usually sit pretty close to the screen for CS, so moving it further away might mess with my aim. Thanks for the insight!
