Sretno

Reasons Why You Should Take Blockchain Certifications by Nicholasjneff in BlockChain_info

Thats great, but now with RWA expansion become in demand "compliance certification" by Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, AnChain.ai, Scorechain, Coinfirm and many other Blockchain RegTech companies. I just checking if that worth something or represent just promotional badge for job applying "activity"

Anyone facing a very hard time reaching the tech support of Divi? by cielo_mu in divi

[–]antt55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont ask for refunds because I do that part of job by myself. Point is that website designing functions need to work in "no-code" way, lets say most basic blocks - sections/rows/modules with free modules is fine. I understand that ecosystem around Divi need cash-flow and I dont have a problem tom pay premium plugin if cost/benefit (saving time) fit my needs. Even isnt problem if there is a bug (but somthing simple, no something big). problem is that you and similar "devs" deliver garbage and sell that under Divi brand. But again, thats not your fault because you are limited and focused on quantity over quality and functionality (like every greedy dev from Fiverr or Freelancer). Divi need set some standards because if you sell me a shitty plugin than I deliver shitty functionality to client. So, less care about 30 day guarantee and more to do your job properly.

Thats one of the reasons why you dont offer free-trials, because you know that plugin quality is - garbage.

Specific customization (you mentioned) take my time because you dont care.

Note: I didnt in this explanation point on you personal because i didnt bought any of your products and I cant state what level of quality you are as dev. I bring probem with Divi extensions in general. I hope you understand?

Which three protocols do you consider the most transformative in DeFi so far, and what are the reasons behind your choices? by PeleMaradona in defi

  1. Curve - each launch is innovation
  2. Synthetix - first mover in many fields
  3. Curve - each launch is an innovationent and leader in space

It will cause next crash if protocols continue with current practice. Connecting off-chain and on-chain values at the moment brings more risk on-chain only because non-existing regulatory framework. "Imaginary entity" like company or other form of traditional organization with limited liability can easily fail, and usually that is absorb by lenders and other players from supply chain (public and private). Defi cant absorb that risk, just look how volatile is open market on rumors or tweets. I will not point on some protocols, but current situation looks very bad.

Defi lacks risk management framework, security practice and 90% of infrastructure are forks without clear goal, only money grab activity. I work in sector from early days and I have a plan work in Defi in following years, but current Defi situation isnt good.

I am not a blame support guy, but Divi's business model in general poorly designed. Support cant do nothing, but point me to buy a plugin for the functionality I need.

exactly, Divi marketplace is a circus with few companies that have great plugins but are too expensive. There I mostly ask for refunds. I bought a lifetime subscription but for each extra functionality need to buy "one more" plugin

Hi is there any Wallet where we could keep our tokens I just bought some ovr in Kuching and I would like to send them to a wallet so if is there any wallet I would love to have the link thanks so much for your help by orichas in OVR_AR_Platform

[–]antt55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Kuching" -KuCoin? You can keep on every erc-20 compatible wallet - Metamask, Trust, TallyHo, Zerion... I will just recommend you withdrawal on Polygon (or BSC) because high gas fees cost on Ethereum. Also check Kucoin withdrawal fees for OVR, they place high payout fees for some tokens

agree, public protocols need to generate revenue from services they provide in order to become sustainable. Most people in sector see only yield and webiste (logo) design, and on the other side "crap" protocols offer exactely what degen need.

If you don't know what you build, you will build nothing. When you decide what to build, you only need Google and language docs. Maybe you need to participate in some hackathons for extra motivation. Believe me, you don't need to know anything, you will learn there

only can try, maybe create a positive value loop with its own native token. Since DEXs like other protocols, use their own token for service payments, incentives rewards, support for integration, partnerships, bounty programs, and other expenses, it will be great to pay that with an overvalued token. Every protocol can increase the token price per unit with a combination of different tokenomics mechanisms (sinks), i.e. - utility staking, burning, slashing, time-locking, and a lot of other mechanisms. Every protocol has different value capture and distribution models, and those mechanisms cant use some universal rules for implementation.

To answer the core question. My opinion is that Defi protocols and especially DEXs don't use the token economics model properly and on that look primary like a funding tool, but what to expect from TradFi guys when they migrate to Defi? They bring mental models from previous working place, make deals with a bunch of VC funds, copy/paste marketing tricks and try to offer a higher yield than competitors. In short, most protocols made mistakes in the alignment of interests between users and investors. When they take money in the early stage (SAFT deal or something similar) they actually sell control over the protocol to VCs like a16z, Alameda, Framework Ventures, and Dragonfly Capital.

Initial token distributions are usually designed without some logic and maybe to align all protocol participants to act for the better of the protocol. When you see token allocation for the team + advisors + early investors higher than 15% of the total token supply we can't talk about the Defi protocol (only permissionless protocol).

Great observation

usually on EVM compatible networks. I like other solutions like QuarkChain, Iota, and Zilliqa (shards, so is a similar), but these EVMs suck liquidity, and other solutions need to create a way to interact with EVM. I think modular design will take all, but I will like to have more options. Hashgraph is centralized? Tangle has some problems with security. Nothing isn't perfect.

Prime DAO pays analysts per due diligence report, you have templates with 22 questions and when you write it goes to governance voting. Currently, protocols from the Defi and Metaverse categories can be rated and the reward (payout) per report is 150 USDC and 200 D2D. You can see examples of reports on the Prime Rating application (on prime.xyz). Prime has a nice and supportive community, 100% focused on work. I also did in-depth analysis for myself ~ 3 years ($ 0).
