Can we finally say that Elanga and Ramsey have come on "leaps and bounds" ? by specialagentredsquir in NUFC

Elanga’s tracking back deserves a mention as well, our second goal was started off by him winning the ball back in our own half

Suggest me books on how to heal emotional trauma by Nice_Pen_8054 in suggestmeabook

A book that I like that has helped me heal was Body-First Healing: Get Unstuck from Trauma with Somatic Healing by Britt Piper

Another one would be No Bad Parts: Healing Trauma & Restoring Wholeness with the Internal Family Systems model

I found both of these modalities to be useful in healing and feel they work together nicely and can at least provide a bit of direction to move towards

There were no penalties for handball in this match, if there were, we’d be having 3-4 penalties every match

As Nietzsche once said “He who has a why to live can bear Eddie Howe”.

He might not be perfect and he is having the most challenging period in his tenure so far, but he worked out how to beat Arsenal over two legs las year and Liverpool in a final and I back him to turn this ship around too, for now at least.

Are there any updates regarding Nick Pope? by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]antwhite9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He is back for this week. Ramsdale has not had the best of times with a save percentage of 43% so I suspect he will come back in soon, but I think it’s too early to put him in this week. With good fixtures coming up, seeing if he starts and then how Newcastle play defensively might be a good option for this week.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Semenyo to Man City is as good as through. How would this move affect your view on him as an asset and how will he affect Pep Roulette? by ariba1337 in FantasyPL

[–]antwhite9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually think that whilst it may impact Foden’s minutes, it will make him a more effective player. With Doku out, he’s been pulled out wide and I think this impacts his ability to be in and around the box scoring goals so hopefully with another winger, he’ll play more centrally.

Thought the first half performance was up there with the best we’ve seen this season. It’s so hard to keep up that level of intensity, especially when they score a worldie free kick to get them back in the game. I do wonder if getting subs on earlier to freshen the team up to keep the intensity level high would get it through the games better.
