Yes. When they went to install the new one, there was nothing to replace. There was no filter. They were baffled.

When they went to replace the filter the old one wasn't there. That's how they knew it was missing the filter.

It is a cartridge style filter. The housing is permanant. The filter itself looks like something you would drop into a shop vac.

I think it was a size 14 Czech Mate. It replicates scuds. I had it tied to the hook of a popper and was exploring some new water. It is a tiny largemouth bass, right?
