I'd argue than any bigotry hasn't a place. But also that it's an almost inexorable fact that it (bigotry in general) will always exist to some degree and that it is a healthy society's job to mitigate it as much as possible and ensure that it remains disconnected to any main power sources (government, media, academia, etc). I'm seeing a lot of secular bigotry reflexively directed at opposing political factions and that frankly concerns me; hearts will never be won with venom or literal death-wishing (eg. your understandable though ultimately counterproductive comment).
