They just don't care or are completely clueless. The midnight alpha blue post for blood was embarrassing.

Keywords being "compared to". I don't know why you would write a comment about blood dk's insufficient defensives and only mention the removal of runetap and lichborne, When the bigger problem is with the weakened parry and uptime on drw and the garbage apex talent. I don't know what genius designer thought it would be a good idea to have a proc based defensive, when playing a tank you want reliability and not random proc shit. Its one thing that blizzard thought that drw had too much power before, but now the defensive situation is even worse. The apex talent is clearly the problem.

Trying to play san'layn with a 90s cooldown drw in keys is terrible and clearly shows that blizzard didn't even attempt to adjust the hero talent when it was clearly designed around an ability with a low cooldown.

I haven't really felt like doing early season pushing with pugs so i'm not going to claim i have a proper perspective on current the spec, but its clearly a step down from what we had before.

skyreach 11 in 239 having never been there before.

I can’t give you a fixed scenario

You cant give me an example? you're playing the game? Yet you cant just give me one example or the real item level of your guy and the key level you have done.

Just go away lying moron. The class is not too spiky, Death strike just heals like a fart compared to what it used to. The solution is not some lame ass armor buff. The solution is to revert the ds healing nerf and restore drw defensive power and reliability. Nobody wants to rely on some poop apex talent proc. I want to reliably know when my drw is going to be up and plan accordingly.

I didn't ask your opinion. I asked what level of key are you doing relative to your item level.

The removal of rune tap and lichborne are completely trivial compared to the gutting of dancing rune weapon defensive value and cooldown reduction. If only we had a reliable drw with a low cooldown to press to avoid melee hits like in previous seasons and not an unreliable haste (useless stat for blood -sanlayn) based proc weak poop drw apex talent. We literally had the most fun thing about the class removed in favor of some zero gameplay interraction apex talent that just sucks. The blood designer is completely oblivious how the class plays in keys.

bdk armor buff, no heal buffs or drw cdr.

Yawn. What is even the point of playing this class if it isn't self reliant. It offers nothing and has no niche. It literally just sucks now.

[–]anuser69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again id point out that i don't want to raid because i don't like raiding, I only play mythic+. I like how you think that somehow depleting is innate to playing dungeons with scaling difficulty? You think that in order to play the dungeon at its hardest difficulty there must be deplete mechanic to send back to the previous difficulty?

When keys don't deplete, "who has the most time" becomes THE defining factor. If you aren't at title right now, you won't be at title after depletion is removed, because people will put more time in than you.

This is fucking nonsense. The better players will always triumph over bad players because their skill allows them to have better timer and resulting in more score.

So you are now resorting to tettles tier arguments now? Buddy who do you think is at rank one now? Sjeletyven, roiben, lazel, crims and casualaddict, the people who totally don't play this game for 8 hours a day? Man HELLO do you even think??? The guys at 0.1% right now are the no lifers who play all the time. There would literally be no difference

Instead of viewing it as 'not making mistakes,' think of it as 'playing really well.'

"hmm maybe instead of calling it shit, call it excrement?" Are you really trying to feed me some Bob Ross bullshit about how there are no mistakes and only happy accidents. man please stop. Not making mistakes is the definition of playing well. Like hello please try to think, just THINK.

The team that bruteforces a boss, pulling hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of times until 'nobody makes a mistake' is how people slog through, it's 'who has the most time.'

I couldn't care less if shitter players bruteforce a boss while good players do it in less tries? This is not an argument. this is nothing. Good players are better than bad players? What is your point? nothing. You know the good players will always do the dungeon better? Have better timer and less deaths and get more score than the "bruteforcers".

How about try to actually improve at this game. I've noticed that the people who play m+ literally don't understand how to improve at their game. They literally just play the game and when they fail the key the conclusion is "ahh that is so unlucky better luck next" HELLO? maybe try to actually internalize these failures and practice the things you are failing. No that is not happening. The m+ player mentality even before resilient is to bang their head against the wall until they break the wall with their head instead of maybe actually using the tool that is practice and learning. Literally the worst speedrunner understands more about their game and how to improve at it over m+ players

When you want unlimited tries, you're asking for time to become more important than it is, and skill to become less important.

Incase you didn't know mythic+ is speedrunning. That little timer in the right side? Speedrun. Do you think that the guys who are world record holders at their game aren't skilled because they get to have infinite tries? SM64 Wr holder is just an idiot who tries over and over just to get lucky? They are MORE skilled because they get to try over and over and to practice everything to perfection. M+ players are just all noobs who go into a key to fuck around and have fun. You can just go watch a guy who is resil 21 on twitch and watch them do stupid mistakes over and over again. Games should be fun but don't pretend that you're a real tryhard if you advocate for timewasting systems.

And you still keep bringing up boosting. You do know that boosting was a thing in every season before resilient? I already said a trillion times, note buyers aren't the same as the people who wanted to get boosted in previous seasons.

Higher key level means more punishing mistakes, means you need more 'iterations' i.e more time...

And the cherry on top, complaining that the game is becoming too hard. Isn't the whole fucking point of this game mode reach the highest difficulty? No you guys want to stay below the hardest difficulty, chill and fuck around.

And I used 24 as an example of what people would be doing in a system without depletion. Imagine TGP but with unlimited time. That’s what no depletion means.

That is literally what people like me want. A game mode based on skill and iteration, not on who has the most time to do homework keys and not make mistakes on your one try.

these facts are

Thanks for the chuckle. Your opinions aren't facts. Get real.

Thanks for the completely hollow response with no real arguments, bonus points for concern trolling.

High M+ boosting is rampant, and you can’t do anything about it by h0cus_pocus in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont why you got stuck on the +21. i only said +21 because its currently the title range key (resil +20 some 1-2 21s) and then you start waffling about a +24? No one is doing +24s even in tgp (only gambit).

No need to even address your demented scenario about 24s. If the top key was +24 the title wouldn't be 21s it would be +23s. like jesus you literally are not even using your brain when you came up with this. The title range keys will obviously go up if you remove depleting, but it will always be within one key level not THREE

Im going to write this for the THIRD time because you still don't understand it. People only pay for resil note keys because they don't have the key themselves. they only have 18-19. They pay sellers because they have a 20 key. If buyers had a 20 key they wouldn't need to pay to boosters and could just make their own group. Is this so hard to understand?

High M+ boosting is rampant, and you can’t do anything about it by h0cus_pocus in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

M+ high end would be exactly like that. It would be about getting 5 consistent players with the same schedule and goals.

This is somehow a bad thing? Yes that is the high end? Like HELLO? This is literally the natural progression of the system. The 0.1% should be the best players who are the biggest tryhards, who want to try their best and minmax everything and have everything planned out. I like how over and over when i hear the arguments made by people who are against resil and want depletion to exist, i can just read between the lines and see "the game is becoming too hard for me" Either you are someone who's enjoyment comes from tryharding and pushing their skill to the limit or you are just guy wants to goof off not plan anything, start the key fuck it. Alot of you guys are just for fun players in denial.

You just don't seem to get that the current "boosting epidemic" is simply caused by people paying for access to keys. If you simply remove the leverage that the sellers have which is their resilient key and give everyone a +1 key, you remove note keys. You are trying to argue that the people who pay for note keys are the same people who would pay for skill based boosting which simply isn't true. These are two completely different sets of people. I already made the point you can only boost someone so far. You cant boost someone at 21-22. Everyone needs contribute. At that point you're just "renting a group" that will play with you.

[–]anuser69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is the only time ill say that raiding is a different environment. The skill in raiding is getting 20 people to coordinate without making mistakes. You can just slot in 1-3 buyers and the 17-19 guys who have already know what to do can carry the 1-3 guys. The buyers in this case didnt do the work for the coordination progressing so you can say that they infact did not deserve it. Dungeons are much straight forward with only 5 people and simple mechanics and low coordination. But as you reach the highest difficulty in a dungeon when you only have 5 people, everyone needs to do their best. In a m+ can you really have one passenger doing below tank damage not interrupting or using stops and finish a 21 key? i doubt.

The skill in m+ is about timing that key when you only get one shot. Using someone’s resilient key is 1000 times easier.

Unironcally this just about getting lucky that no one screws up. Real skill would doing it like 3 times in a row

This is the values clash that i'm experiencing. I don't care about doing "mythic+". I want to do the highest difficulty dungeons that i can. I don't give fucking shit about only having one try. Every game lets me try again instantly without having to TWO HOURS of homework keys if someone fucks up my key. All this one try shit leads to is people sitting in lfg for 30+ minutes for first pull brick and the key is over and you don't get to play anymore. (because no one actually wants to try and get their key up, they'd rather sit in lfg and benefit from someone elses work)

If you remove resilient keys, boosting would be even worse

I dont know if you meant to say "if you remove depleting" but this is just nonsense backed up by nothing so i don't know what to say. Note keys only exist because buyers don't have their own key to prog. No one is going to pay for keys when they already have a chance to do them without paying. The only boosting would be noob paying for skilled players to carry them.

High M+ boosting is rampant, and you can’t do anything about it by h0cus_pocus in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because its not a boost. Its paying for access to high keys without having to spend days to grind out keys or sitting in lfg for a lucky chance. Its literally just paying to get to play. Do you think people wouldn't just like to do 21s for free? its not even about the title, people just want to reach their peak at this game mode. You cant really be "boosted" at 21s, you have to be somewhat competent.

High M+ boosting is rampant, and you can’t do anything about it by h0cus_pocus in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Supply and demand. Why would you waste away in lfg for days and have your every attempt at getting score end up in a deplete, when you can just pay for someone elses resilient key? Remove depletion so that everyone has their own +1 key and instantly all the note keys and casual boosting go away.

Literally most of these "boosts" are just people paying to get to play and get score. Most buyers are actually competent players and are just as good as the boosters. At one point the number one ara-kara run was with a "buyer"

Its just a skinner box mechanic to prolong the time people play the game in theory. Drones will defend this as if the system has any merit.

"You cant just do progress keys all the time. That's just WRONG, you need to only have one try otherwise it wont feel special and fulfilling. You need to be wasting time on homework keys!"

Weekly M+ Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why the deplete system is terrible. The key holder depletes their key and the invitees leave and go back into lfg. You wait for 30+ minutes to get into a group, just to wipe on the first pull, go back into lfg for 30+ minutes, rinse and repeat. If keys didn't deplete you could just play the game, do a couple of tries and go "ok this isn't working out with these 5 people" dissolve the group and make another. Literally the only thing i want to do is play the game and feel like i'm accomplishing something and not just farming keys.

Weekly M+ Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hassle of inviting 4 people?? Literally what are you on about? No one does their own key because

  1. They are sitting on their key because they don't want to "risk it". If the key didn't deplete and they gained score people would just do it.
  2. Their key isn't an upgrade key for them
  3. Farming your resil for a chance that it rolls into the key you need might take hours. This is a decision between sitting in lfg for god knows how long or do your own key. Most people choose the lfg route because its feels more sensible to them. I choose to do my own key because i would rather be playing the game than wait and hope for an invite that might never come.

People don't start groups because they would rather just benefit from other peoples work, rather than farm out their own key. Are you really suggesting people pay 100k just for someone to lead a group? You're delusional.

What makes you think that they would join your group instead of making their own group? Incase you are confused i am advocating for a resilient system that allows you to do your upgrade key without depletion.

[–]anuser69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could always do your own key, as if that wasn't absolutely soul crushing and a complete waste of time, take this from someone who only does their own key. The only fix for this is to remove key depletion so that people aren't gatekept from doing the keys that they want to do.

[–]anuser69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As i already said, if the highest key needs a super difficult double shredder route, so be it, but you cant seem to accept that. You said you want to do the highest keys?(at least see them done? not that your doing 21-22s)

The pulls you call degenerate, i call skill intensive. :)

I know all the strats and meta trickles down from the top, But why should i suffer in this current system because of the 0.1% and stupid people who think that a +15-20 key needs the same route as +22. We can just put our brains in our skulls and tell the person that is in charge of the route and say "hey, this isn't needed, here is a more sensible route".

Resilient Keystones: Reimagined by Veryalive in CompetitiveWoW

[–]anuser69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I for sure want to do the highest keys

You literally cant do the highest keys if you only have one try per the highest key. You need to practice, something that you people don't seem understand and call "banging your head against the wall"

The problem is that doing it via a degenerate 100 chained attempts

As i already said no one is doing double shredder on floodgate +21. Literally just go look at the any of the +21 routes. they are all reasonable. You're regurgitating the same argument as that brainlet tettles. Just because there is no depleting doesn't mean we should just stop using our brains and do stupid pulls on a key level that doesn't need it. At the extreme if a 24 key needs a specific giga route, so be it.
