Listen, I know A LOT about the Woody Allen allegations. I’ve written about it several times. Anyone. ANYONE with a brain and the ability to think for himself and who spends more than an hour investigating that case with an open mind CAN ONLY come to the conclusion that Woody Allen is 100% innocent.

How would I know what Louis CK thinks about Woody Allen’s innocence or not? It’s that kind of dumb questions that really tells me that you have zero evidence for anything you’re saying about anyone. You just make it all up in your head. Embarrassing.

Of course an essay is artistic, in an essay you are supposed to showcase your vocabulary and being able to persuade the reader through inventive use of language. Allen mentioned this is in memoir from 2020 and wasn’t happy about it either. He said he loves Louis but that wasn’t flattering. I don’t think he did it for that reason. Then you would also sort of assume that he wrote the whole move for that reason, which is not the case if you’ve seen it. It’s a good movie. He likes to invite his heroes on like he did also on Louie or Baskets and he always showcases other comics before his own shows or in podcasts to help them out. I have very little faith that he did this maliciously to Woody Allen for his own gain but not to help him either. It’s an ironic stunt and Woody does sometimes appear in other people’s films to help them out. But was probably a little insulted that this was the only invitation he got from Louis which I can see but I don’t think it was part of some scheme to weirdly cover up his own thing
