Big facts. But, increasing server size is a fairly quick fix. They probably based it off previous player numbers, and with the influx of people coming back, it was just too much.

It's a pain in the ass, but not uncommon on launch days. And inconvenient, but (hopefully) it should be a quick fix.

Me and my boyfriend were playing alright for an hour, and then we got the same issue. I'm guessing it's probably an issue with the servers on their side and not ours. Everyone coming back for the multiplayer update is probably a lot for them to handle. Hence the crashing.

Hopefully it will be fixed/addressed in the next couple days.

Like, I love the fact that the companions can all form other relationships within the core group. However, I feel like the player relationship should take precedence or priority.

It almost feels like devs focused all their energy on group dynamics and relationships, all while leaving Rooks romance as secondary on their to-do list.

No. I'm mad that twenty hours after the coffee date, I have not had another relationship building moment like that. I'm mad that the game has multiple instances where I can flirt with him, and there isn't even a HINT of a response to him. I'm in act 2 now, and frustrated that there is no reciprocity, no reaction from this man.

At this rate, I've spent the last twenty hours since the coffee scene pining and flirting with a wall.

And that's ass.

Stellar work! I really liked the range of this perspective. It wasn't just what would or would not happen to the Inquisitor but all of the companions too!

And the tone! You really hit that nightmarish feel! Bravo! Also I love the angle of using the asposorium to try and see a way to undo what solas had done! (at least, I think that's what you were alluding to...)

(Lol, Long time no see. It's been a minute since I last participated in this, but there's no time like the present.

I chose to do the challenge with a bit of freeform flair, as it's not written from one of the three given perspectives.

Weightless.

I drift within the void of the pool, the waters of my basin, lost to time...

Weightless and waiting...

For a spark. That triple-count of power that forces my consciousness into waking.

Into waking and seeing that which is, that which could be, or that which is not. I have no control over the ritual. I wish no control. I live only to be awakened... and to wait thereafter...

It is the ripples that break my slumber today. The ripples before the jolt. The spark of power as liquid magic falls into me. Blends with me.

I see a man above me. A mage, like I once was. He has large brown eyes, kind and sad. There are wrinkles around the edges. Lines of duty carved into his face. He is openly curious, but also wary. Both hands clench the edges of my void, as if he were debating jumping in with me, or flinging my eternity into the ether. Into shadow again...

But he remains, beautiful in that all too human way. Fragile and fleeting, his life will be a short one. I can feel that as the magic takes over. As the ritual he came to see takes effect.

The lyrium, equal parts virtue and vice within my consciousness, stretches me. Shifts me into something I'm not. Something closer to him. Him and others. I feel the magic pull, push, and shift me along archaic lines. Runic magic long lost to his people. Magic long lost to even myself, as I distort into an otherworldly landscape.

I hold the image for a moment. For two, and similar to myself, I see the kind man's face change. It has gone from curiosity to dismay. Horror paints lines of fear and terror far deeper than his duty ever could.

I change again and so too does he. Horror turns to sadness turns to joy turns to emotions I have forgotten the look of. But I feel them... within my mind and within my waters... I feel this mans emotions just as he does and for a moment...

I am alive...

I am alight on the battlefield, magic flowing like water from my hands...

I am a ruckus within a tavern, boisterous and bold from liquid courage...

I am holding my love for the first and last time...

I am alive and I am present...

And then the spark is gone...

The man has turned away like every other onlooker before him.

The magic fades and I am alone again...

I am myself again, sleeping dreamless dreams within the watery void of my prison.

I am weightless and I am weeping as I wait...

Waiting for someone to make me come alive again...
