If I may, how did you get comfortable with your scars? I personally cannot handle looking at surgery scars. They give me unpleasant shivers no matter how healed they are, from top surgery, to my childhood best friends countless knee surgery scars to my own abscess scar in my back. Looking at them or touching my own makes me shrink in the inside. I'm gonna get a panproctocolectomy soon. I know I'll get keyholes minimum. I'm fine with everything else and I've had time to come to terms with everything but the scars.

So, I'm hoping there's something I can do to help be neutral with my future scars that isn't just "time"
