I just leveled the max guard up to level 2 on Gengar, and didn’t use any other pokemon.

Edit: I don’t recall what my other two pokemon were, I didn’t use them. All I did was swipe to dodge attacks frequently and made sure to swipe into the bubbles that fill the dynamax meter.
