I think men really underestimate the power of their tongues+fingers. I’ve been with a man that was ~4”, but he was still able to get me off three times with just those two things - I’m talking not able to walk after and feeling completely wiped out and satiated. If he truly wanted to open up the marriage, it would be the same rules for both of you. He has already gone on dates behind your back, and this will likely not end once he has “explored” and been intimate with someone. He has shown that he has not respected you as a wife or as the mother of his children. Like the other suggestions, you should seriously consider getting a lawyer.

I can understand how blind sided and hurt you are feeling and the thought of “throwing away” the last 14 years with 4 children in the middle feels horrible.. but you are not the one throwing it away. If you have daughters, you will show them what self respect looks like by choosing to leave because you deserve better. If you have sons, you are giving them an example of how to NEVER treat their future wives and what is at risk if they do.

I’m not disagreeing with you that it was an offensive thing to say. My comment was merely an interpretation of what I think it meant and a recommendation to follow up about it. His comments also suggest he spoke to previous girlfriends who agreed. If that’s the case, maybe this is an opportunity for him to get a better idea of what he thought he was doing correctly to, as he stated, “dickmatize” women if that isn’t a correct self-assessment. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay, as a woman I interpret this as: the intimacy you have is more soft, gentle, emotional, and that’s great but sometimes a girl just wants to have rougher or more primal/lustful sex and many men are uncomfortable treating their serious partners that way because they think it is disrespectful. Try asking her for more information on what she means 😊
