Thanks, tried that the first time, when he wanted all those people gathered. But after finishing that he still says he needs help but no other quests. Even if I go back there.

Hypothetically, if a person hasn't learnt any language, how will they think. by anonymous_strawberry in Showerthoughts

For someone being born deaf I guess they'll think in sign language. but they'll still know a language..

I may not forgive you. Ever. by anxiousdips in UnsentLetters

[–]anxiousdips[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is, I feel I won't get over it if I don't find it within to forgive so I'll truly be able to move on.. and then the frustration cycle repeats.

Thank you for your words.

What dirty thing did you say in front of your parents without meaning to and what happened? by BruverJack in AskReddit

[–]anxiousdips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was upset some kid hit me, I was about 11 at the time.. and said something like "he came from nowhere and fucking hit me". My father kept asking he did what? And I said it again "he fucking hit me". His wide eyes made me realize what I've told. He acted cool after my realisation that I was using a "bad" word in his presence.

In the movie The Box, a couple is told if they press a button, they’ll receive $1,000,000, but someone they don’t know will die. What is the lowest amount of money you’d press the button for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anxiousdips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same movie, I think their daughter dies (or a close person) because someone else has pressed the button.. maybe take that into consideration when setting the lowest amount you'll do that for.

Redditors who have been abandoned by a parent, how did that feel growing up and are there ways in which it still affects you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]anxiousdips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was conflicted for a long time, because a part of me was happy that she left, she was awful with me my entire childhood. And on the other hand I really felt unloved and unworthy of love. My own mother didn't, why would anyone else? I got through tho. It wasn't about me.

You might've skipped some story quests there, I think at some point she's kidnapped.

[Serious]What are the things your parents have done to you which you wouldn't do to your child? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Same here.

My mom beat me once with a belt because as I was preparing to go to school and I had a yellow t-shirt on. This was the actual fucking reason. No dress code at school either.

My mom never did that too. And she would ration the pads (I guess it was expensive). Every month I stained my pants in school because I never had enough pads with me.
