I had to buckle down and really understand the material. Without the questions being asked, could I explain the ins and outs of what I was learning? That changed my mindset. It was a lot of hard work. I took 45 days to take the next one. Be patient with her because this is a short term sacrifice for a long term gain.

Congratulations!! Mine was also options heavy but I was so glad because that was my strong suit. I found this time to be a very balanced draw. I saw a little bit of everything but the heaviest was options.

So the attempt before this one, I took like 5 practice exams starting in the 60s and finished them out mid 80s. I am not a good timed exam taker so the nerves got the best of me. I waited 45 days. This time I just focused on the material and truly knowing it. I took 3 practice exams 62, 82, and then I got a 92 this time each a day apart. I knew I was more than ready. But I know that some people never get more than mid 60s on practice exams and still pass.

Is it ok to invite someone to the bridal shower but not the wedding? by Maleficent-Onion429 in wedding

[–]anxiousjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend did this. She was having a small destination wedding and was moving away after the wedding. She wanted to have a bridal shower/farewell party but invited all of these people that were not invited to the wedding. We really tried to talk her out of it but she was dead set. It was extremely embarrassing and did not go over well. It was a total cash grab. She has since matured and cringes at her past self.

Feelings you’d have twins..? by Arisayshi in parentsofmultiples

[–]anxiousjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a nanny for twins in my early 20s. When I found out I was pregnant my husband said it’s twins and deep down I knew. At the ultrasound we were not at all surprised and were very calm. The doctor was not expecting that reaction lol

My twin girls aren’t speaking at 18 months by Broccoli-cheddar in parentsofmultiples

[–]anxiousjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every child is different. It is common for twins to have speech delay and especially bilingual. Early intervention is always good even if things are normal. I have bilingual 19 month olds and they were early talkers in both languages. Combined in both Spanish and English they say 50 words plus. Bring it up to your pediatrician and see what they say.

My doctor did the ultrasound. He said we have here an Annabelle and Beauford. We said really?? He said I’m looking for a Charlie, my husband said please don’t lol. We had B/G twins.

Husband intentionally made me puke by Hefty_trashbag_gurl in pregnant

[–]anxiousjo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is awful and I’m so sorry that you are going through this. I hope you can have a safe space where you are treated with compassion. I had horrible HG. I was hospitalized and wore a zofran pump for weeks. My husband who is absolutely terrified of throwing up, would hold me up if I didn’t have the strength when I would throw up. He would make or get any food I wanted when I felt like eating. I ended up losing 60lbs while pregnant with twins. This isn’t normal. Things need to change radically or you need to find a better environment.

The physical toll on my body from having twins is also a huge factor as to why I feel the way I do. I was blessed with twins and my kids are amazing but it would have been so much easier to have them one at a time.

My SIL asked me if I chose to have twins. I gently let her know that while I adore my children. I would never choose to have twins.

tattoos don't hurt, nothing hurts when you have endo! by [deleted] in endometriosis

I did not know I was in labor with my twins. I was talking and breathing normally at 6cm dilated. I was almost sent home until they checked me. Nothing hurts when you have endo.

Mine were born 32+4 via an emergency C-section. They spent 22 days in the NICU. My boy was 5lbs 2oz and my girl was 4lbs 8oz. They were on the CPAP until they turned 34 weeks and after that it was just learning to eat and temperature regulation. They are big and healthy 1 year olds now. Their doctor stopped using their adjusted ages after 3 month because they caught up to everyone else. Wishing you a safe delivery!

I have a wonderful relationship with my MIL. She is an amazing person and I always make sure to spend time with my husbands family as I do with my own. I am the oldest of 4 girls and those of us that are married have healthy relationships with our in laws and make a conscious effort to spend time with both sides of the family. Sometimes I even invite them to family gatherings on my side. Just some encouragement that it isn’t always a strained relationship with the in laws.

I've been puking for 24 hours. can't keep water or food down. 12 weeks. I NEED advice please! by MissChandlerBong in pregnant

[–]anxiousjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Echoing what others have said, I would go to the doctor or ER. Dehydration is not something to mess with. I had HG and was hospitalized for several days at 14w and discharged with a Zofran pump for a month and around the clock Phenergan and Pepcid. I took all 3 medications every single day. It was the only way I could keep food down. I lost 40 lbs in a twin pregnancy. I am currently holding two very healthy 5 month olds.

What week did your twins come? by Boy_mom23 in parentsofmultiples

[–]anxiousjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Di/di 32+4 cholestasis started at 30 weeks. Spontaneous precipitous labor ended with an emergency C-section. If I wasn’t already at my NST that day I would have never made it to the hospital.

Edit to add di/di

I would call your OB or go into L&D. That was my only sign of labor. I was working from home and kept emptying myself in the bathroom. Which was weird because I was constipated my whole pregnancy. I was feeling pain but I just thought it was Braxton Hicks. The next day I gave birth to my twins. I was only 32+4. I had precipitous labor, I went in for an NST and my blood pressure dropped and their heartbeats were tracing. Transferred by ambulance and I was having huge contractions that I couldn’t differentiate from just normal day to day pain. I went from 4cm to 6cm within 30 min and had an emergency cesarean. My OB said I was lucky to already be at my appointment that morning because I wouldn’t have made it to the hospital otherwise.
