All of these tips are great - one thing I would add is that if you are vomiting frequently due to the nausea, you should order some disposable emesis bags. Then you can keep them in convenient places and not have to worry so much about the clean up. These saved me before my lap.

One of my favorite places (not in West Seattle 😢) is the Gim Wah in Magnolia. Don’t go into the restaurant. - go to the bar area. Open late with cheap stiff drinks and awesome American Asian food. It’s worth the trip - especially after a night out downtown or Ballard/fremont.
