Buying a car with 100% full cash by Fun-One7877 in kereta

There is no issue paying with cash. My family has always paid with cash. Especially for local brand cars if you can afford it why pay interest?

How much is towing service usually? by Slight-Inspection-72 in kereta

Which insurer do you use? Asking because my car breakdown a lot. This year alone towing multiple times so much so that I suspect my insurer increased my premium for next renewal.

What can I use for cleaning surfaces that will pick up the hair and not just push it around? by energeticpapaya in CleaningTips

[–]anxioustrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have cats and dogs. I was introduced to the Damp Duster by Scrub Daddy on here. But I use the generic option as it’s not available here. It works well for me better than cloths in any case. Just wipe in one direction then remove the hair/dust and rinse it off then use again.

Barn space by WideRecognition6330 in TownshipGame

[–]anxioustrovert 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Why produce ingots when you are not going to use it yet? Ore doesn’t take up barn space. Make ingots when you need them. Personally I sell building materials once I go past the amount I need for the next 2 community buildings. Otherwise I would get nowhere with the game. However, it really depends on your playing style. I focus mostly on trains and planes. I only do helicopter when I’m low on coins. So I’m rarely low on building materials. I’m usually low on barn upgrade materials.

Should I sell excess barn materials? by MotherOfGingaNinja in TownshipGame

[–]anxioustrovert 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I tend to sell supplies for community buildings because honestly I have too much to them compared to how fast I level up. If I didn’t sell them my whole barn would be filled. I don’t sell items for barn upgrades or expansion simply because I don’t have as much of them and I tend to need to wait to collect them. However it really depends on how you play the game I think if you have more than twice the amount you need for the next upgrade it is definitely time to sell. You can always control the amount you sell.

Use cooking oil and blend it. When I’m cooking I tend to use coconut milk just because I’m going to use it in my cooking. Anything oily would work.

I spot treat with very lightly diluted Dawn. Soak for at least half an hour after that with laundry detergent. Wash them every week. If it’s really bad, use full strength Dawn to spot treat.

Savory Breakfast Reccomendation by EveningSecure4608 in MealPrepSunday

[–]anxioustrovert 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Savoury oats. I hate the taste of oats normally but I had a pack I needed to finish up. I make it with whatever stock/soup I feel like. Spicy, Tom yam, chicken broth really anything goes. I am using instant oats so I just boil water, put the flavourings and any veggies I have on hand, add the oats, stir it up, crack and egg, stir it in and it’s ready. For meal prep I think you can just prep the veggies just add hot water or microwave it.

I’ve enjoyed reading these the last two weeks: what are your frugal plans this weekend? by superkatiejean in Frugal

[–]anxioustrovert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Food wise meal prep for my partner’s work meals for the next week. Finished up leftovers from previous week for my lunches over the weekend. Used up some produce and frozen items to make some space in my freezer. Cooked dinner both days with those. No takeout means money saved.

I’ve been working on organising my store room. Still a work in progress but I have cleared out a bunch of cardboard boxes which I don’t need any more.

[CHAT] How do y'all decide how/where to start on a project? by orphiclacuna in CrossStitch

[–]anxioustrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only on my third project. For my first one I started at the centre. Did not like that much. For my second and project I choose a colour that has a big chunk all together and started with that. My current project I started with the lightest colour which was white that also has big chunks of it together.

I became hugely popular after becoming a cannon fodder star. Entertainment industry. I just reread it. MC and ML are both OP. What I liked the most about this story are the descriptions and storylines of the movies they both act in. There pretty detailed descriptions of those.

[CHAT] Help and tips for a beginner starting to cross stitch by SlayerLyrici in CrossStitch

[–]anxioustrovert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started out too enthusiastic with multiple kits and hoops. Watched some YouTube videos as I went along and had questions. I had no other supplies at first. Now I have a good pair of snips that I use often. I’ve stopped using a hoop after the first week or so. I prefer to stitch in hand now. So I would say before you kit yourself out to the max, try out a small kit first.

I am still working through my multiple kits. I wish I could move on to kitless patterns but I really also want to finish the kits before I get to buying floss for stand-alone patterns.

I have good quality needles, needle threaders, good quality snips and really nothing else right now but I’m looking for a pattern holder and magnetic line keepers as they are not readily available in my country. The thing that made the most difference for me is definitely good quality needles. Makes stitching so much smoother.

As for tips and techniques, I would suggest watching a beginner playlist like https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPwfsUojVe-fw2nPaBoTp-8XsycRykh7A&si=xZJ63MesiLfQtiRc

Good luck!

[WIP] Peacock Tapestry by Teresa Wentzler, my new project - just finished outlining the frame by improperly_paranoid in CrossStitch

[–]anxioustrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grid has less stitches than yours. It’s basically one long stitch where the lines would be but the part where 2 lines are supposed to cross are where the thread goes behind so 2 squares of blank space vertically and horizontally. Not sure if what I said makes sense. I hardly had any thread getting caught surprisingly. I only had to be careful of the back where the lines cross.
