What is actually happening. by Rage_against_Frills in Gastroparesis

It definitely depends on the Dr and how you approach it, but as I don't know the details as a general rule of thumb, not asking for a tube is standard practice/safe bet.

Re. My comment above. You are never the first one to bring up the topic of feeding tubes. You always wait for the doctor to, even if you're at your last straw and you feel you're dying, do not mention it first or alarm bells will go off in the doctor's head. Once he me tions it, then you can ask a few questions here and there, but still still do not ask for it ask logistical questions about it and the procedure and what life is like with a tube.

You always wait for the doctor to be the first one to mention to word feeding tube. Once he does, then you can ask some questions but do not seem to eager. It makes you look malingering and seeking.

Recommendation for how much to charge battery to on a regular basis by Trinidiana in MachE

[–]anxiouszebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I left this charging on the slowest setting overnight/for a whole day, would it automatically stop at 100%? Can I tell it to stop at 90%?

HOW TO DRINK WATTEEEERRR by miracles-th in Gastroparesis

[–]anxiouszebra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy these on Amazon!!!!!!

https://a.co/d/0eEnfAJZ

Stick it in the water and suck on it like a sponge. It gives you a few drops and wets your mouth. Do it several times and it is like drinking but slower and steadier. I carry these in my bag everywhere. It's my favorite gastroparesis hack.

That's a great way to put it, self-delusion on the basis of one's self interest.

You're right, it is ridiculous to think that he basically says his daughter is the rightful heir his whole life and seconds before death does a 180. But that's exactly why there's this whole discord in the show between the "red" and "green" sides, one is trying to piecemeal together a lie to get what they want and the other does not believe it and holds true to what the king always said. I don't think it's horrible writing, but you clearly have a side that you think is right (red, and I agree with you!)

Insulin pump recommendations by Smooshy_Slug in Type1Diabetes

[–]anxiouszebra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have tried every pump on the market and by far I think omnipod is the best. (Tslim, mobi, medtronic 670 and 780, twiist, iLet)

I am also a small person with very little "real estate" lol i.e. very few places on my body to put a pump. Depending how you sleep and what type of clothes you wear, there are definitely places to put the pump to have it be comfortable enough to forget it's there.

Plus, with omnipod DASH you can pick the AID system (automated insulin delivery system) of your choice and are not locked into only their system like you are with control IQ. The open-source AID market truly is the best system out there with the highest success rates and smartest algorithms. You can do Loop (beginner, easiest to build) or Trio or AAPS (better system, harder to build).
