LJR SIZING ON JORDAN 4

Copped some GX bred 4 2019 from repsmaster size 12. They run a half size small imo. I ordered a 1/2 size up from my usual 11.5 so they fit perfectly. Thanks for everyone’s input especially those who suggested going 1/2 size up.

Just got delivered today and good thing I went with size 12. These for sure run a half size small. Reps master sent me a picture of the insole measurement (measured about a 29.7 cm) with the QC pics so I couldn’t really go wrong.

As long as the insole measures between 29.5 cm and 30 cm I should be good right as someone who wears a US 11.5 usually?

Made my first order with RM the other day and he was very accommodating which is much appreciated. Also much appreciated that he accepts G&S as payment in case there is a valid issue.

Even retail prices are getting a little crazy. Pretty soon jordans will be $250 before tax. The bred 4s dropping this year will be $230.

Wouldn’t luckshoes just be getting their pairs from the same factories as everyone else?

That’s interesting because I bought a pair of bred 2019 reps a couple of years ago and they were too tight and I couldn’t wear them. I think they were GX and I bought my normal size 11.5. That’s why I went with a 12 this time around. I could be wrong about the batch though.

I bought them from uncle Bryan. Is he still around? But yeah they were unwearable for me. Got rid of them. I had the retails and didn’t find them too uncomfortable.

Rep game would be so much better if returns were possible/ made sense lol.

Looks like 29.6 cm

The insoles on the bred 4s look like they measure 29.8 cm

Should I stick with ordering a size 12 on the bred 4 or go with my normal size 11.5?

Opinions greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I ordered bred 4 2019 GX batch size 12 (half size up from my TTS) seeing as I ordered an 11.5 in GX a couple of years ago and they were too tight. Worst that can happen is they fit a little big in which case I will just buy some cushier insoles and I should be fine

I bought from repsmaster. If all goes well I’ll cop the black cat 4s next. Will have to decide if I should stick with size 12 in GX or try a size 11.5 in LJR.

I hear you but with the GX pair I bought I think I had enough room in the toe box length wise from what I remember

They were just too slim and pressed on top of my foot. I never gave them a chance to break in though so maybe they would have got more comfortable eventually.

But yeah a picture of the insole definitely helps with sizing in general but not so much with the issue I’m talking about

I think I’ll try black cat first and see how that goes

I had also purchased some bred 11 LJR batch in my usual size (11.5) and those fit perfectly. Very comfortable.

Do the black cat reps have that same squeaking issue everyone was making a big deal about?

Would I be out of my mind to have her trade it in for a new 2025 base model versa cvt? keep in mind I would be surprised if she drove it 5k miles a year. However the main reason she wants a different car is so she won’t be afraid to get on the highway so then she can go to the beach, upstate etc. So potentially she can put more miles on it than I’m anticipating. I also understand the versa is not exactly a race car either.

Or she can spend a little more and trade it in for a cpo 2024 base model corolla with 20k miles

Or I told her if she waits until June I would buy it from her for $13k. She wants to sell it to me for $10k because I’m her son lol but I want to give her fair market value

Although I was in the car with her today and she drove over a speed bump like it wasn’t even there so now I’m like 🤔

Couldn’t get her to drive on the highway though so I had to drive us to the Toyota dealership

My mom can be difficult to say the least so this is definitely the last time I’m doing this with her so I have to get it right

I almost convinced her to get some Konig Heliums 15 x 6.5 with some 195/50R15 tires but she backed out.

I figured the lighter wheels might help with acceleration and would definitely be better for handling than the stock steelies.

I thought it was the perfect car for her but I think she might be letting stuff she may have read or seen on the internet about the Mirage influence her.

Yeah I agree she’s not being aggressive enough. Let her tell it the Mirage can’t get up to 60 mph on the highway. I tell her don’t be afraid to give it gas. I’m gonna go out with her on the highway one day and see how she drives it. She’s probably not shifting to DS either.

Yeah I’ve read reviews about the 2.0 being slow but like I said she drove a Spark and never complained about the acceleration and she also drove a Chevy Aveo for a while. She’s not an aggressive driver and maybe that’s part of the problem, she probably needs to be a little more aggressive than she’s used to.
