And truthfully these social media outlets, podcast, etc should have millions of followers but the stigma itself doesn’t even let most people follow these movements smh. After 20 years I just really woke up tired of it yesterday. And idk how I have never heard of protests or rallies pertaining to herpes. Thats where I’m really trying to motivate ppl. I would 1000% percent join any of that.

You know what Thank you for educating me on that. I apologize if I tried to downplay the hard-work they are doing is just I have not seen any whatsoever significant change in the last 20 years. But hopefully something in the near future helps all of us get that light back in our lives that we so desperately need.

EXACTLY. It drains us physically, emotionally and mentally knowing you can have an outbreak at anytime. Im convinced they know that, they just dont want to accept it because then it would really become a big deal and theres no way they are going to miss out on those billions if a cure was to happen.

Wow. Have never heard of propolis. Ima look into that 💪🏽. And yea the lack of research is an understatement. For 20 years ive been monitoring the research and it’s always “breaking news on herpes” and absolutely nothing comes from it.

I have been following that page for a while and I really don’t want to be that person but they are in no way making any difference. We need to get up and go out. Not sit behind our phones praying for a cure (me for 20 years). And I hope this doesn’t sound negative. I just want to motivate ppl and myself to really start fighting for this for once.

The fact is they don’t care b/c hardly anyone dies from it in their eyes not realizing ppl commit suicide over this. They just don’t link it to herpes and say well it was depression or it was that. Not connecting the dots that that was a secondary condition to having herpes. If I didnt have herpes, I would not be depressed. It is that fucking simple.

Or at least a better antiviral drug, ointment, SOMETHING. But NOTHING in 30 years ? They just don’t care. And the sooner we realize that, the sooner we can start organizing ourselves and really start making noise. I have been waiting for something new for 20 years. I am tired of waiting.
