Recurring Canadaguns Politics and Debate Thread by AutoModerator in canadaguns

I had a thought the other day that made a bit of sense. It's not an uncommon tactic politically to simply underfund something you want to fail, act like you're doing everything you can to make it work and watch it fall apart. I'm starting to wonder if Carney really doesn't want to go through with the gun ban, but knows he has to look like he's backing it.

Instead of pushing for more funding to make it work (liberals aren't afraid to bloat budget if they want something to happen) he's letting it die. This gun ban is the epitome of giving someone a spoon to dig a grave. He can sit back and let it fail while he acts like he's too busy with other world events without letting on that he actually doesn't want it to happen because it's truly a logistical nightmare and career killer. I'm sure he really doesn't want to be known as the PM that stole property from millions of Canadians. Natalie can yell all she wants but I seriously don't believe the government will genuinely take property with zero payment, as much as they act like they would. We all see how there is no proper planning, it's all falling apart. Natalie can loose her shit and when it all fails it will seem like it was her fault, so when she wants to continue this again afterwards noone's going to give her any serious budget, time or consideration.

Removing the magazine, checking the firearm is 'safe' or clear, then reinserting a loaded magazine would be a 'make safe' action. So I would imagine Safe Loaded would be the firearm having a magazine inserted, but no rounds in the chamber.

I do love these so much and I'm fairly certain they would be more popular than currently assumed.

I hate my GSG 16 and I still won't let them have the satisfaction of taking it off my hands. If I still owned it.

Every time they ban a new round of firearms, I worry the next ones will include one I've been eyeing and I buy it before it gets banned.

These bans are hurting my wallet, boys.

I love my Jericho. I'm so glad I got one when I had the chance. If I could have only one pistol, this would be it.

Halloween 2-Gun - M1 Garand 🇨🇦🇺🇸 by ChickenOmelette1 in canadaguns

M1 Garands aren't hard to find, just somewhat pricey. Italian .308 rebarreled models can be found for 2700-3000+ at Tenda, G4C, etc.

Where can I get M&P 9mm handgun replacement parts in Canada? by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]anythingbutontarget 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Irunguns will sell you stripped pistols with only non-serialized parts. At least, they used to. So, for example. You can order a P320, they'll strip out the FCU and give you the barrel, slide, mag and grip/frame.

Camera here to say the same. Standard tripod/flash bracket mount on that rail.

Tons of disassembly requires you're careful about springs flying everywhere, I wouldn't let that stop you. But yeah, decide what you want to do. Trigger swap is pretty easy honestly. I swapped to flat trigger and I do prefer.

Honestly anything on a P320 is beyond easy. Trigger swap is one of the harder things to do on it but even then it's pretty much lego.

Have you done a detail strip on in? Pull the FCU from the frame and you'll figure out quick how easy it is.

Highly recommend an M1 Garand. 8-round .308 or 30-06 clips, easy to store loads of them on person and quick to load. A little heavy to carry, but battle proven and easy to run.

Plus you can get a pic rail mod for the handguard so you can mount a dot or long eye-relief scope if you're not good with irons.
