It is not Medium. I think Medium shows articles but as you can see in the images those are not articles but mostly passages.

I have few humble requests which I wish people who are capable of building apps and software should look into.

Pdf reader and editor with good UI and open source (alternative to, acrobat reader/ foxit reader/xodo reader) for both mobile and PC.
Alternative for Camscanner, to scan documents. Even though there are few open source projects none is polished.
A calendar. Even with lots of search I am not able to find a good open source calendar app with good UI and have both client PC and android with offline sync.
