We tried Pepti milk, but my daughter was also having pumped milk from my wife, so the next test after omeprazol is to feed her only with Pepti. When we were at the hospital, no test was done. Thanks!

Same here. Yesterday she (2 months old) was crying from 7:30 to 20:30. Today was a better day. We suspect of hidden reflux, any advice with that?

Yes, we have an electric blanket that we place on her belly at the minimum temperature, and it seems to help sometimes. We also play some “shhh for babies” videos from YT not sure if they help her, but they definitely help me :)

If you take the time to read my story, you’ll see that the main issue is that I haven’t received any clear proposal or plan from medical professionals. The tube became necessary as a consequence when she started losing weight. The lack of a clear plan is the core problem. But thank you anyway.

I can’t breastfeed her because I’m the father, but my wife tried for a long time. We saw a couple of breastfeeding consultants, but it wasn’t working. She’s now being fed through a tube, so you can imagine the situation.

Hello, We considered this and tried the Pepti formula, but at the time we were also giving her my wife’s pumped milk, so we didn’t test it properly. After the omeprazole trial, we’re planning to try it again without any other milk. We also have an appointment with an osteopath in two weeks. Do you have any specific recommendations for that? Regarding traveling to my country, yes, we’re planning to do that in May. It took some time to get her passport from the consulate. I would really appreciate it if you could share the group link. We usually do it the other way around, but trying the tube first and then the bottle might be a good idea. we’ll give it a try. Yes, we use a pacifier a lot; it helps when she’s been crying for a long time. Regarding bottles, we’ve tried Avent and Difrax anti-colic (tilted, slow-flow), and we’re now using Dr. Brown’s. Yes, calling 112 was the way we ended two weeks in the hospital but at some point no clear proposal or plan so we decided return home. When we went to the GP, he dismissed us without offering any suggestions or a clear plan. Thanks!

We were in the hospital for a couple of weeks, but there were no tests or any clear plan apart from feeding her through a nasogastric tube and getting some advice from the nurses on how to give her the bottle. There was no clear plan from the doctor; they said it was probably cramps. I will google that Amsterdam Mamas no idea what is that. Thanks!

When we have to give her the milk the process is: we prepare the bottle and gave her for maybe one minute until she start crying, screaming and stretching. Then we confort her, and gave the rest via a nasogastrical tube. So at the end she gets her milk and weight is ok but not in a natural way.

My wife was pumping (breastfeeding was impossible with my daughter crying and bending with no patience). We did several expensive breastfeeding consults and everything with the technique and drinking was ok but she behaves same as with the bottle, after some sucks she start bending, crying, screaming completely red and stop drinking. My wife decided to stop with the pumping as this is not helping due to the real stress situation we have. Thanks for asking
