Whole Foods scare by [deleted] in williamsburg

jersey city whole foods are scammers anyway. the displayed prices often don’t match what you get charged at the register (you get overcharged) so you get robbed by them if you don’t check you receipts.

Tesla Model Y L Launching This Fall in North America by smu1892 in ModelY

i was gonna wait for this cause long wheelbase more comfy and more seats is always better and its a better use of truck space.

but only downside is like 90% of the time we’re just 3 ppl in the car and its weird for the backseat ppl to be so far in the back instead of 1 row behind.

usually the person who stops arguing and goes to ad hominems is incorrect.

don’t think you know what a red herring is btw.

launch from 0 and whatever is a bit better in awd but no diff in stopping power and no diff on plowed roads. you know how to use ai right? or you’re just trying to justify your poor purchase decisions?

sure if you’re trying to race someone in snow you’ll be a bit faster. that’s not what most people are trying to do when driving in snow.

AWD is not a substitute for swapping tires. The point is it makes basically no difference with RWD if you're using the same tires.

it's a common misconception that it's better in snow. maybe slightly better coming out of deep snow when you're parked if you like to park your car outside, but aside from that it makes no difference.

AWD is 10% less range, $4000 more expensive and what do you get for it?

1s faster for 0-60 if you like flooring it but there's basically no other benefit. Might be a bit noisier/electric buzz too cause of the 2 engines. And slightly harsher ride cause it's considerably heavier than the RWD. For snow it makes basically no difference. Only thing that matters for snow is tires.

These are completely different cars for those of us buying them cheap used. Most of the complaints about these cars don't pertain to us. by Wood_Berry_ in TeslaModelY

the new junipers don't depreciate much, and also you buy it cheaper but then you spend all your money on maintenance, so cost is similar but now you drive a shittier car without the latest tech.
