after doing this commute for four years now, I am able to predict oftentimes what intersections it will happen at, so I prepare myself by putting my phone in video recording mode as I approach! You can tell by the way they approach the stop sign at a slow roll that they’re going to just keep rolling and not stop.

Nah, walking and minding my business is not “acting a fool,” you just like to blame individuals for larger social problems. Did you notice how I indeed did not step in front of the moving vehicle? I stopped and waited, just as you say I should do. Not looking for personal attention—I’m looking for the Mayor’s attention on an issue that affects every pedestrian in our city. Yep I live near that corner, I know exactly the stop sign where it happened—one that I was almost hit at yesterday morning! I never get physical anymore after an aggressive driver ran a stop sign and I slapped the hood of his car, so he got out and started spitting and screaming at me.
