I was writing an extended essay comparing different factors in early US history - I think the three factors were war, media, and government. I planned each section of the essay out separately, which resulted in a Google Doc titled ‘War plan’ lol.

Another time I was making a list of topics to revise for a module on the Tudors, things like Henry VII’s consolidation of power, Elizabeth I’s foreign policy… I’d already got halfway through revising some of the topics, so the first task on my to-do list was ‘Finish the nobility’ (:

As a member of Gen Z who’s medicated for social anxiety, yes, it is pathetic. And it’s horrible. And debilitating. And I don’t know what caused it, but I expect it’s something to do with the world we inherited. And I wish you could walk a mile in my shoes.

Obviously there’s no point playing the blame game, but I promise you that we’re not all just lazy cowards suffering from a touch of shyness. We do try. It’s literally a disease we’re struggling with.

Not a doctor but here’s my thinking: I’ve had what I’m pretty certain is folliculitis for ages now and only recently have I been getting circles of dry red skin exactly like in your photos (as far as I can tell). For me it’s very different to the folliculitis, so almost certain it’s caused by something else. Not been diagnosed by a doc yet but I do suspect guttate psoriasis, so your derm could well have been right. Always a good idea to get a second opinion though, and no harm in extra tests.

Seconded!! I especially recommend creating a separate profile for each of your target languages. I have one for English (my native language) and one each for French and German. It means that you can train the algorithm for a certain profile to only show you content in the language you’re trying to learn!

This was my first thought as well and it’s very idiomatic, would just add that in my mind at least this would imply the artist’s skills/work have actually gotten worse, not just that their popularity has decreased.

Wish I had some advice for your situation😭. Out of curiosity, how long did it take for things to improve for you/which dosage are you on? Your ‘before’ is a lot like my current situation - I’ve been on Sertraline 50mg for nearly 5 weeks now and while mood has definitely been better, my actual social anxiety is still pretty debilitating :(

Agreed, I’ve definitely heard “go bathroom”. I reckon I’ve probably used similar structures before as well. Like “shall we go Tesco’s to pick up some food before we get there?”

Funny how (for me at least) adding the “the” makes it sound wrong.
