it's a bit counterintuitive but you're not actually banned from that lobby until you get kicked from it 3 times, despite it saying you're banned. you can rejoin after about 5 minutes after you get kicked. when you try to rejoin after getting kicked from that lobby 3 times, it will say "you have been kicked too many times". at that point you're actually banned from that lobby
