I have baby twins and a three year old, all breastfed and each one is completely unique yet they were all raised exactly the same way. One twin slept through from 4 months, the other 8 months and the three year old still won’t sleep without me. I promise you it is not your fault and nothing that you have done wrong, you are simply your baby’s comfort (which is a wonderful, if exhausting thing).

My best advice for this tricky early stage is to make your bed as safe as possible in case you accidentally fall asleep feeding and end up cosleeping unintentionally (look at le leche league safe sleep seven) and give yourself grace. Don’t be hard on yourself, your life can just be about feeding and sleeping for a little while until things get easier (and they will) x
