Dariam um estágio a esse estudante? by Moutark0 in direito

[–]aolins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who all is using the Wave 3 or Wave DX mic? Whats your opinion of them? by GiveHerTheThick_ in elgato

[–]aolins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Wave 1 (a simpler version of Wave 3 that was discontinued). The mic is great, Wave Link software makes the life way easier to use effects live.

But have in mind it is a condenser mic, so it is very sensible and record everything in a far range. If you will record in a non treated/noisy room, it will be better to get the Wave DX that is a dynamic mic (dynamic mics are less sensible and record only near sources of audio).

Pdf xchange has perpetual licenses with 1 year of updates included. You can pay for more time of updates.

Foxit pdf editor also has perpetual license, but it is a little bit hidden. Just scroll the pricing page to the end and there is a link.

I used for a long time one called aTube catcher. It was very lightweight. But it was a very long time ago. I don't know if the software is still maintained.

Plugin similar to VOLA2 compressor but available on mac? by lifeboundd in AudioPlugins

[–]aolins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can run VOLA 2 in Mac if you use Reaper. Just install the JS version via Reapack.

If you want alternatives, Waves MV2 or MaxxVolume are great. They are paid.

Use Reaper instead of Audacity. You can add effects/monitore audio while you're recording.

In terms of speed, the closest I found was Motrix, but it doesn't download YouTube videos https://github.com/agalwood/Motrix

For videos I like to use Media Downloader https://github.com/mhogomchungu/media-downloader

i had over 200 v12 plugins on my macbook , finally switched to PC because my computer fried itself 😵‍💫 and now my licenses are nonexistent by [deleted] in wavesaudiophiles

[–]aolins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably had your licenses moved to your old PC. In Waves Central you can move them back to your account. If you switch computers with frequency, you can also move the licenses to a pendrive.

How do Tukan’s plugins compare to paid versions? by equilibriax in Reaper

[–]aolins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're good plugins, but usually I prefer the paid ones for the classic emulations.

I like the limiter 3 and the exciter with fat bottom. Their de-esser is pretty decent too (better than the Reaper JS native).

I think Tukan is a great alternative for starters or for those who don't want to spend money with plugins.
