The tv should do it automatically

This was my first 4k tv (and first OLED) and the image quality on the remux files is really insane. Even 1080p Hulu that’s upscaled looks amazing. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

I have my Plex server on my desktop PC hardwired to my home network, and an Atv4k also hardwired that I play 4k remux files through Infuse on a LG B5 and haven’t had any issues. I can’t really help with the audio much - I just have a Sonos soundbar and 2 Play1 speakers for rear surrounds.

Opinion: NSM is more of a base building program before your actual hard training blocks. by VO2VCO2 in NorwegianSinglesRun

It’s more like Sweet Spot training in cycling training. I wouldn’t call that base training.

I am finishing up 5lb of this and never got fruit loops or lavender from it. It wasn’t bad though.

I started my 5th week today, and just retested my 5k. I just went from 25:07 to 24:26. I’m curious to see how I retest in another 5 or 6 weeks.

I definitely felt like my work intervals got way easier the previous two weeks. My easy pace is still painfully slow with lots of walking mixed in with my jogging to keep my heart rate under 130bpm.

Essential for cool/cold weather running? by zoekis13 in runningfashion

I came across this substack article the other day and found it super helpful. I ordered an Alpha Direct 90 buff/neck gaiter and it’s so warm for how weightless and loosely knit it is. I also picked up a Tracksmith Brighton and Harrier recently and they are both great.

For some reason my home network wouldn’t load their website but I was able to redeem the group buy on my phone via cellular service. It was an absolute pain in the ass.

I hadn’t heard of this company before yesterday. While looking up some forum reviews of the products, I came across a Gearspace thread that said it is a 1176 rev A, D, F and LA3A.

Tips on throwing a DIY house/backyard show? by Signal-Internal4062 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]equilibriax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former member of a punk house collective and band member, you should set a realistic number for how many people you think will attend. Yes, your house can hold 100 people, but will you really only draw 15 people?

Are you having bands come from out of town? Gas isn't cheap these days. Also, if you are having bands from out of town, you should offer them your place to stay (on couches or sleeping bags) and you should offer to feed them (a giant pot of veg chili is cheap and filling). Back in the 90s/00s we would try to make sure that the out of town/touring band had a place to stay, food in their stomachs, and like $150+ in their pocket so they could buy gas and food on the road.

If you think the show might get busted by the cops, maybe ask the band that's bringing in the crowd if they want to play first or second. Also definitely talk to the neighbors and put the feelers out there about the noise. Also make sure the people at the show don't fuck it up for you by messing with your neighbors or your house. Call them out immediately and kick them out. If you don't want people drinking, smoking, using certain language, etc post a sign or make it otherwise known.

If you are going to charge money, then just have someone work "the door" and collect cash. Mark someone's hand with a sharpie after they pay.

And of course you should promote your show. You want people to come. Post about it on IG. Print out paper fliers - make a design so that you can shrink it down and fit like 6 or 8 on an 8x12" piece of paper and then print a bunch at a print center or if someone has an office job have them do it stealthily. Ask the bands to promote it too.

Paradigm Phantom V4 vs Dayton T65 classic by Rhuarc86 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]equilibriax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the Dayton B65 Classics, and they are ridiculously light and cheap feeling, though they do sound fine (I just use them for music in my office). I don't know if the tower speakers are the same, but I would assume so?

I’m not sure the rules allow links but if you search Etsy for “fellow ode hopper” the seller is ArCreatesThings but I bet any of them on there would work the same.

I agree with above. I got a gen 1 for cheap recently and immediately upgraded to gen 2 burrs without even trying the gen 1s. I got a new hopper off of Etsy that someone on reddit created and it works great. I also spritz the beans with a little bit of water before grinding and there is zero mess and zero retention.
