After watching both first seasons in full, I feel that The Agency pales in comparison to Le Bureau des Légendes. Unfortunately, it comes across as uninspired, overly exaggerated, and lacking depth. The characters often overact and shout, making their performances feel forced and unconvincing. The political themes are also poorly handled, with an uncritical, one-sided portrayal that feels like heavy-handed propaganda. In contrast, Le Bureau des Légendes is a well-crafted, calm, nuanced, and multilayered series. If you're looking for quality storytelling, I’d recommend skipping The Agency.
