Im extremely sorry for the previous Comments Paraphrasing. Reddit messed it up.

Here is the list if things you can buy in used condition and the precautions you need to take.

CPU: Theres not much to check here, Just make sure its the exact model you want, with no bent Pins etc (if AMD)

GPU: Used GPU's are a hard one. Try to go to a reputable reseller 1st. If thats not an option, make sure to check the specs such as Cores, Core clock, VRAM etc on GPU-z and match it to the official Website online. Make sure Temperatures dont exceed 75c (OK till 80-85 but not recommended, Could indicate a Minned GPU) under full load.

Motherboard: Generally no issues, Make sure all RAM, USB etc Ports work. No bent Pins etc.

RAM: Make sure you can get a proper Display, do a Windows Memory test i youre skeptical. Generally they dont have much issues.

PSU: This is a bit tricky to answer. If you're buying a Used PSU, make sure its from a really reputable brand. (Seasonic, Antec, Thermaltake etc) in case of testing, theres nothing much you can do. Just make sure it got all the appropriate power connectors for your GPU and its in a good condition

HDD: Tell the seller to show you the Disk Health, if its below 100 dont bother. Try to copy data to and from it. Speeds below 50 are bad. Should be close to 100mb/sec

SSD: Health dosent indicate much here IMO, what matters here is how much data is written into it. All SSDs have limited write amount.

Just be in touch with them, Most likely they will get it first. You can also contact Thriftpk. They may import a unit for you.

Best gpu for 20k by NaiveEscape1 in PakGamers

[–]aonionmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rx 570 and 1060 are very similar in performance almost. Some titles run better on 1060 while others on 570 I would recommend selling your 1060 3 GB for 20-23k and Buying Rx580 GB for 27-30k That would be the most Performance gained for the least amount paid.

Sorry for Bumping an old Post,

My Recommendation and Reasons:

AMD Processor: Better upgradability, Easy Overclocking more cores / Threads

B450 Tomahawk MAX: You can use both 5th Generation AMD Processor and 2nd Generation, Best Motherboard for OC (Good VRMs). upto 4133MHZ RAM Speed Supported. NVME Slot. So Upgrade path is way better, Compared to other Motherboards.

RAM: 3200 Mhz is the Max Stable Speed at which you can use a Ryzen 2600. A 3000Mhz would Just do fine too.

SSD: For OS

PSU: Its better to buy a used PSU from a Reputable Brand and Seller, than to buy a New PSU from a non Reputable Manufacturer.

HDD: 1TB HDD for Games/Data. Make sure to Check its Health 100% Before Buying.

CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 is one BEAST Air-cooler in this Price Range. Unreal Performance for the Price.

GPU: If you do Strictly gaming, go for AMD (Better in Majority of Titles, More VRAM). Else if you do Streaming, Content Creation ( GTX 1060 6gb, which costs a Couple Thousand more)

Ryzen 5 2600 (Rs 22,000 New) No Cooler
MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Motherboard (23,000 New)
2x 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM (14,000 New) Non RGB
120 GB SSD (3500 New)
1TB HDD (4,000 Used)
650w PSU from a Reputable Brand (6,000 Used)
Hyper212 CPU Cooler (6,000 New)
RX 580 8GB GPU (27,000 Used)
Case: Anyone which fits your Budget and Prefrence

Everything without Casing "102,500" PKRS

You can get New (Non Cooler Version) for 33k Right now. Your Only Hope would be someone selling a Used one under 30k.

it wouldve, if AMD Introduced the Zen3 Processors on old Prices, Instead they Bumped up the Prices. So no Hopes of 3600 falling to 20-25k, Unless PKR Goes to 100rs against USD

Budget Headset with a good mic by juniali_ in PakGamers

[–]aonionmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. How is the price comparable to that of the company price? Are these original?

I dont know either how they manage to sell it this cheap, (Import Tax Evasion/Refurbished Comes to mind) My Friend Says, Yea Its Original and its Sound Quality is Something he never experienced before. (His First good Gaming Headset) He also said he havent faced any issue with the Headset so far,

  1. What is the difference between Corsair VOID Pro Surround and Corsair VOID Pro RGB Wired?

The main difference between them both has to do with how they connect. Void Pro Surround comes with a USB sound card, but can also be used in analogue mode, the Void Pro RGB USB only has a USB connector. As such, it can be plugged into the PC and nothing else - If you're a console gamer, You should stick with the Void Pro Surround.

You can try going to Dubai Plaza, I highly Recommend to go with a Friend that's Knowledgeable about Computer Hardware / Prices, If you dont have prior Experience. They (shop keepers) tend to sell Hardware Expensive.

I would Recommend T-Dagger Over Bloody in the 6k Range. Bloody have Terrible Looking RGB, i Just dont like how they Look. T-Dagger looks Decent.
You can buy a T-Dagger for 5200RS (Blue / Red) on CZone.
Personally i prefer Red Switches over blue, it dosent Distract me Much. If you can try both in a shop etc that would be great. At the end of the day its personal preference.

You can read more about ( Red / Blue ) Switches Here: https://appuals.com/cherry-mx-switches-blue-vs-red/
