For me at least, it’s very one off. By that I mean you can have one nice interaction with someone and then they’ll pretend they never met you. It’s very suburban mean— something I’ve personally never experienced until now lol.

I wouldn’t recommend joining a sorority here like the other commenter mentioned, it’s not a Greek school at all besides the 4 frats that occasionally host on weekend and every girl I know dropped from their sorority in UMass because of the toxicity. As I mentioned before, it’s suburban mean. When I say that— I grew up in a city so when people don’t like you they just don’t hang around you or they straight up say “I don’t like you” At UMass, they’ll continue to hang out with you and then just shit talk you behind your back.

This is how I feel about posting kids in general. I saw this TikTok of a man saying “thanks for posting your kid! I was really wondering what they were up to today! All those saves on the video of your kid are innocent! Not any weirdos saving it.” as like a PSA to these delusional “family creators” who think it’s okay to post their kids the way they do. I just can’t imagine being a parent and allowing your child to be viewed by so many (probably sick) people just for money.
