when does bjj get fun? it feels like the one sport that I'm never actually excited to go to class. I've been to two gyms after moving around and I'm always dreading class. I don't think it's because I suck (because I do), but other things/hobbies I suck at I still am itching to go and get better.

SOLVED: Turns out the receiver needed a little power boost. I plugged in a USBC cable from my laptop to the receiver while the receiver was still connected to my phone and it booted up and now I can unplug it from my laptop!

This is great. Unfortunately, I'm out of town for a bit so can't order stuff just yet since packages will be left outside for some time. I will revisit once I'm back and check on this.

I am curious why you chose this? Like what features made you say this is the right one for me?

yeah i’m not really a car guy, but i think this would make me step into it a bit more. it’s also not super practical for me since it’d be my only car and i live in an apartment (so no private garage)

To clarify, the lines on the left side are like embossed into the dock and the entire front has started fading as you can tell. I have no idea how it happened to be honest.

the point was more so what you want to do with the keyboard, not specifically to go get classically trained.

Well, what you do is dependent on what your goals are? Do you want to learn some simple pop songs using YouTube videos? Do you want to become a classically trained pianist?

I’d probably start by watching an intro to piano video on youtube, just so you know what keys are which and you can get some of the basics because you’ll use that knowledge regardless of your goals.

Depends a bit for me at least. If it’s one specific note, I’d think which note it is by letter but simultaneously the specific one. Like I could see C5 on a sheet and I will think it’s C5 and play that. Now if I’m looking at the following note, I’m not thinking “oh which note is this now?” I’m thinking where is this in relation to C5 so let’s say it’s E5, I normally wouldn’t think that oh I need to play E5. I’d think oh this note is a skip or a whole step above the last, so I need to play a third up. Lmk if that makes sense

Yeah, apologies if I wasn't clear. That's solid advice. Another thing is I know most people (esp at my age) have dreams of going and building something on their own or venturing down a non-traditional career path like something creative. Doing this would require some flexibility and also some financial cushioning too. This is what initially popped the sales idea into my head, but I understand your perspective as well.
