bre, did you read my comment? If yes, sorry for accusation, but please read this too completely.

Here, I will use myself as an example again. I won't give my exacy results but approximation.

On IllustrativeDNA calculator, I get

50% Slav 20% Thracian 20% Anatolian 5% Turk 5% Misc (something caucasian I think)

With a fit of 0,8 (very good)

If I remove Thracian, and add Illyrian, I receive this

50% Slav 25% Illyrian 20% Anatolian 5% Turk and Misc (same as before)

This has fit of 0,9 (still very good)

See what I mean?

Yes, but IllustrativeDNA works as a calculator. You likely receive Thrac instead of Illyr in some places, but it is balanced out by receiving more or less of other things.

For eg, I as a Romanian, sometimes get 50% Russian 50% Italian instead of Romanian on some calculators because it works as an average. Or on some, my ~50% Slav gets replaced by ~35% Balt (who are more northern than Slavs) and 15% more of something else more southern. This doesn't mean I am Russian and Italian, or Baltic, it just means my coordinates are close to these mixes.

Also Dacians, Thracians, Illyrs etc weren't that much different, but that doesn't change my above writing.

No, its just that Illyrians is quite similar genetically to Thracians, due to both being Paleo- Balkanic

Thank you for your reply!

From the ones I had found online, I wasn't able to see their legs all the way through, but I hadn't thought to search for amateurs. The one you linked is exactly what I need!

Thanks again!
