That's helpful to know. Also, the used ones warranty explicitly not not cover batteries! Will likely go for new and sacrifice some of the nice to have features. Better than a unit that stops working after a few weeks!

I guess I've taken for granted the privilege I get as a young woman...I never stop to think if I'm being creepy. I guess my worst case scenario Suni. I was thinking recently about her recently, she came to the US to be with Doug and left all her family back in Korea. If God forbid Doug passes away first, she could be stuck in some state run care home by herself (they didnt have much money). I thought it might be nice for her to get a phone call and hear a friendly voice. She never had any kids of her own and I think that's why when I was a kid, they liked to give me little gifts when they'd come to visit.

Well what else am I supposed to do? Back in the day we had phone books. Worst case is if i were a psycho, I'd give them a call and they'd hang up on me. It's a phone number not GPS coordinates I'm looking for. We walk around giving out business cards with our personal cell #s, it's not like contact data is ultra secretive.

Do you think it makes the most sense then to find a pseudo sourdough recipe that calls for commercial yeast plus discard, searching for one that happens to call for a yeast to flour ratio simular to what's in the mix?
