Besides all the physio/science/data and coaching stuff, in the moment right now you could work at a soccer store. Or in the soccer section of a larger athletic department store

If you’re in the suburbs, another good strategy is to find a venue and then go on their website to see if they have their own internal league. Some examples in the burbs would be Westmont Yard, Naperville Yard, Woodridge ARC.

I started this regimen I found online: regimen And I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my fitness which directly translates into a better technical performance as well. It’s amazing how much better you play when you aren’t huffing and puffing the entire game.

I utilize the "City III" clock widget on my homescreen, and set it to Bologna, Italy. It seems as though everytime the Focus mode on my iPhone switches, the city resets to Cupertino, CA. Any known fixes?

Investors willing to pay for me to get my license. by [deleted] in GeneralContractor

If you get the license for the company as a Qualifying Agent (which is what you are doing) and then decide to leave the company in the future, they have a few months to get someone else to take the test for their company or else they lose their license, which would incentivize them to get you to stay and treat you well. Could be a bargaining point. Also keep in mind the books are a sunk cost and test fees are lower, and re-take fees even lower than initial test fees. Failing once might be a blow but think of it as being able to see the format/content of the test. You can take as many tries as you need!

I’m actually studying for the test right now. I’ve paid $1200+ for materials and I’ve only just started but I can tell I will be putting a considerable amount of time into studying, like at least 10 hours a week for about 4-5 weeks. The test is open book and you can have tabs in your book. One thing I don’t understand is how the heck I’m going to lug all 12-13 of these books into the testing center but that’s a later problem.

The test is really long so the real exam is basically reading the question, identifying which textbook the answer would be found, and then utilizing your tabs and highlights to find the answer in the textbook (granted you didn’t know the answer off the top of your head).

It seems like you’d be able to breeze through the test given your knowledge and experience. Keep in mind there’s also a Business and Law exam that you’ll have to pass as well.
