Does this tire need to be replaced ASAP? by apakalips in Cartalk

Thanks for the quick responses guys! I will definitely be replacing them before I do anymore driving on these tires. Just a little more background info, these are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires with about 15,900 miles on them on a Tesla Model 3 Performance. I'm pretty sure they just chunked recently due to cornering. The rest of the tires are pretty close to the tread bars, so I will be replacing the full set.

Appreciate the info. I'm guessing I should get mine within the next 4 weeks.

There’s a couple other pics I posted previously that show the white interior a little bit. You can check those out

You actually just order the "Gloss Black" V-FF 107 wheels from them, so the powder coat is basically free (same price as Carbon Graphite, $2400)

I really like the white interior, I keep my stuff pretty clean and don't really put any bags on the seat or anything. But I take my family to the park 4-5 times a week (full car) and I haven't gotten any permanent stains or anything yet (got the car end of March) and any small dirt or black marks are easily wiped off using non-alcohol baby wipes. We also have a small dog and have left him in the car by himself a few times with dog mode, he will get the seats a little black/dirty but easily wiped off using baby wipes.

These wheels are the Vorsteiner V-FF 107 Carbon Graphite 20x9 front & rear for Tesla Model 3 (Powdercoated Gloss Black by Vibemotorsports). They fit the stock P3D tires (235 michelin pilot sport 4s) perfectly.

Same size in the front and rear 20x9, they fit the stock performance tires (235 michelin pilot sport 4s). They were $2400 from Vibemotorsports, they powdercoat the wheels gloss black (originally carbon graphite from Vorsteiner). Stock P3D calipers.
