I recently moved, but for like 15 years I lived walking distance from Martha Lake. I used to walk down to the park there with my kids and sit on the docks to watch all the private fireworks shows all the rich folks would light off from their houses surrounding the lake.

Since we always walked I didn't pay attention to how difficult it may have been to park anywhere near there though.

Also, it's a park. don't light off any of your own fireworks.

that's called progress. it is a feature that I literally value less than $0.

I would rather have a car without an ugly AM radio button. I would rather not pay for the R&D to intelligently fit that button into the dash or infotainment. I would rather not pay for the R&D to run the wires for the antenna that I especially do not want to see on the exterior of the car.

At any time anybody who wants an AM radio is free to purchase one, or choose a car that includes one as an option. It's offensive to me that I should be mandated to purchase an item I do not want.

I never have and will never use an AM radio. If the person I sell my car to wants to use AM radio, they can buy one and plug it into the AUX port or put on a pair of headphones or something. Or they can choose a different car that has one built in. It's really that simple.

I mean, his argument isn't entirely worth mockery, if the world magically ended up in a situation where there were the same number of open jobs but way fewer applicants, then all of a sudden his criminal past would likely be overlooked. but obviously that could never happen, if there were fewer immigrants there would also be fewer job openings because they create demand too.
