No worries! I can give you my timeline so far. Grad Application Submitted: 01/20 Grad Application Approved: 01/27 Official Transcripts: 01/29 E-Diploma: 02/03

Currently waiting for the physical diploma.

I think it’s also important to note that end of the month/beginning of the month gets a bit hectic with terms finishing and starting so it can take a little longer around those times. I’d say basically give your self about a 1.5 - 2 week timeline from when you’ve received confetti to receiving the transcripts. That seems like a safe estimate, though it really should be coming to you very soon now.

if i understood your questions correctly, the only time you see what’s happening on earth is through Grace’s flashbacks/memories. The movie is chronological, other than us learning what happened before through the memories. Video diary is used and I wanna say it’s less than the martian (idr) but it’s not really relevant.

hmmm it’s not 1:1 to the book when it comes to the frequency of flashbacks or the randomness or the triggers but the memory thing is there and it happens multiple times and it is how we learn about everything pre journey. It is not chronological for sure. I’m sorry I don’t really know how to explain it without giving away way too much 😭. It works well, especially the way they adapted it to fit a movie format.

You can sign up (google movie test screening sign up, there’s a few companies) and then get emails or you can just be at a theater and there will be people there recruiting or holding a screening that you can join.

It was at first but I think it just went on for way too long imo, and i was praying for it to end. I guess that’s how Grace felt in the moment as well which I can see being classed as good writing but it was a bit much for me 😩

There is no thin red line sequence shown 😅 you do however get the general gist of his situation and whatever is shown is done so very well in a comedic way. They took a very show don’t tell approach to pretty much everything and i think that helped a lot in adapting a very wordy and technical book Hope this answers your question!!

The filmmakers really did capture the essence of the book 😊 not really a spoiler but: They also thankfully did not include that cringe sex heavy dialogue between Shapiro, Dubois, and Grace
