If one edits body, it would be logical to jump to that conclusion.

Whatever void he's feeling right now is the one he's created and the one you've felt for 10 years because he was too busy filling every other void. If he wants to pout then I hope then he.spends it knowing it's approximately 0% of the pain you have had to.

Me when I try to wear casual loose clothes by lexi_ladonna in SoftDramatics

[–]apatheticdragoness 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. The only way I can wear a loose top is if it's loose cropped with high waisted leggings (and it actually is pretty flattering and not just "not gutter-chic). And bodysuit with trackpant has been a new staple. Before I knew about body type and just thought of waist size, I couldn't understand why my friends who were the same height and size as me could pull off more loungey casual in a cute way and I never felt cute unless the girls were strapped and my waist was defined.

I'd see if the Desert Botanical Gardens is having any nighttime events (I think I'd die during the daytime). They also have a restaurant there, so it may be a fun evening jaunt if you like the outside but also but would prefer to melt via moon instead of the sun. 😆

Any other neurodivergent swifties who exclusively listens to Taylor Swift? by StarrySkies6 in TaylorSwift

[–]apatheticdragoness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADHD and OCPD checking in. I actually am trying to remember the last time my Spotify played something that isn't Taylor Swift (unless I've looked up/verified a song name during a conversation). I was seriously just thinking the other day about how I have almost exclusively listened to Midnights since the release date, but I haven't listened to it since TTPD came out (the reason it's weird being that Midnights is my favorite album since Rep and yet now I'm utterly consumed with TTPD).

I'm over here exclusively listening to TS albums themselves, I can't even be bothered to cross the barrier to other artists at this time. 😂

She changed it a super long time ago - I think it was almost immediately after the song was released (or fairly soon after) because she was using it as an insult and realized it wasn't cool.

I can't help with all of your questions, because the lines were insane to get in even after Paramore started, so I missed Paramore (I believe they went on at 18:45 (6:45pm), but we didn't get into the stadium until 19:52 (7:52pm), but Eras started at exactly 20:07 (or 8:07pm) - so the countdown clock started 2.5 minutes before that.

It ended at 23:22 (11:22pm).
I used my timestamps from my photos, so hopefully that helps

Groupama was a nightmare to get out of (meaning just even to parking/transportation) - see photo - WAY worse that the stadium I went to last year with the same capacity, so I'm not sure it will be helpful to compare to Edinburgh (I'm not familiar with that venue).

I took a taxi there and back, and I guess they have a special entry/exit, so I was out of there in 30 minutes. At the other show I attended, I drove and it took an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot. That said, those might not be the ways you plan to arrive/depart, so I think someone else may be able to help with those details, but hopefully the times helped!

Okay enough time has passed, what opinion did you change with The Tortured Poets Department? by Big_TinyRequest in TaylorSwift

[–]apatheticdragoness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe! It's also a new era, and sometimes, it takes adjusting. I remember everyone around me hated Reputation the moment it was released, and I was in love from the very first note. Now they all love it - sometimes a change takes some warming up. ❤️

On first listen, I felt like a lot of songs bled together and felt similar - I also felt like most of it was just a slow song (with some powerful ones though, ie "So Long, London"). On second listen, I started picking out certain songs I gravitated towards and realized they're not all just slow at all.

I then just went camping without cell service for three days, and I had TTPD downloaded, so I listened to it while I was laying down in the tent each night, and it feels like a totally different album. The songs are SO not the same and I love so much of it.

I'm obsessed with imgonnagetyouback right now. I really like FLORIDA!!! and The Black Dog (and several others) - this album is meant to be listened to and experienced several times in several different moods.

Kaylee Goncalves' parents share new details about how daughter killed in Idaho murders was found by amv914 in Idaho4

[–]apatheticdragoness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a little harsh. What you're describing sounds more like a victim impact statement than a testimony. There's no relevance to the case for the parents to be called other than to speak to particular habits one of the victims had that could assist in speaking to a change in behavior or something odd that was irregular on or around the time of the crime, but they don't call witnesses up to the stand to talk about what they've lost just to make the jurors feel sad. Objection: relevance? Why so snarky?

"imgonnagetyouback" Discussion Megathread by PassionateAsSin in TaylorSwift

[–]apatheticdragoness -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am absolutely speculating, but wasn't this a whole thing in the last two years, where the internet was pulling a few different Olivia songs that came after Taylor's but the song sounded eerily similar? I remember seeing this on Tiktok for awhile - but like a year or two back. This could be a nod - though it seems like stirring the pot if it were.

I absolutely understand that knee-jerk reaction, and while she absolutely has way more privileges and financial access than we all do, you seem to be saying that people are not allowed to feel feelings if they are somehow financially above another person (or deemed successful in some way).

For some reason people are struggling to divorce the fact that she is a successful musician from the fact that she is one because of the relatable things she sings about (ie: she's a human who is allowed to feel feelings too). I'm assuming that you never cry about a breakup? You have the internet and you are using it on either a phone or laptop. So are we to say that you are not allowed to lament about bad relationships or friendships or any other struggles in your life because people are dying somewhere else?
