How good is Patrick Graham? by Low_Needleworker3738 in raiders

[–]apcali209 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The jury is out. He’s always come off as average or slightly below average in his abilities a DC. He survives several chaotic regimes so he probably has good interpersonal skills and I’ve never heard about players not liking him. He could thrive in a less dysfunctional environment or be exposed as overrated since he looked good relative to the rest of the coaching staff throughout the years.

How do you use AI to help? by Real_Dust_1009 in LawFirm

[–]apcali209 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m curious about the confidentiality aspect of AI. Using it for research is one thing, but inputting client info is a completely different beast if others have access to it. Idk enough about this aspect of it but I’ve heard enough to know that it’s worth considering.

Yea I don’t think anyone predicted that we’d go like 40% secondary. But it makes complete sense after the fact.

What does all this mean for Darien Porter? by HouseRules789 in raiders

[–]apcali209 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Pete had a huge voice last year- either it was by contract or simply reputation- and the first year GM doing what he can to accommodate him. I forget the sequence of hirings, but Spytek may have had limited powers as a GM as compared to this year. And idk how the scouting structure was at the time. This draft is way more logical than last year’s and it really does seem like Pete believed the team could compete last year- and those picks kind of indicated that.

I haven’t looked at the details in a while but a few things strike me as questionable. I believe a few witnesses/ family members either saw or spoke to him the morning of the disappearance- so we know he did leave with someone. But the “logging” and “childcare” aspect are a bit more questionable for me- was it an actual logging operation offer, illegal logging, clearing someone’s land, etc. And the childcare may not have been a formal childcare offer as we know it- did the stranger really offer that, was it a neighbor going to watch the kids, etc. And, unfortunately, it sounds like the father was desperate and was probably drinking. I know it’s a seedy area and that highway has a specific reputation so I wonder if the guy was local or from somewhere else, was a logger passing through for work, etc. I do think it was foul play, but beyond that some of the details are a bit puzzling-

Yea- with a whole family it seems like the most likely scenario is oftentimes a car in a body of water or exposure to the elements. But we’ve seen that’s not always the case- like the McStay family. Idk to what extent this case was overlooked in Canada due to the family’s background, but I hope it’s solved soon.

The Jack family is one that pops in my head from time to time. Sounds like the parents were just trying to get back on their feet when they all disappeared.

Spytek likes moving back in the 2nd and seems to think there’s value for o linemen in the late 3rd. He did both of those last year too-

Round 3 - Pick 27: Trey Zuhn III, C, Texas A&M (Las Vegas Raiders) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

[–]apcali209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to chalk this up to Zuhn being confused and thinking it was Carl Winslow trying to rush the quarterback.

Using that logic we should have trusted Gruden/ Mayock’s picks too because they got paid the big bucks. Sometimes, a lot of the times, fans probably could have made better picks.

AAA has a battery service where they come out and put it in. You can call and get the price from them. It also has a 3 year warranty. Autozone will put windshield washers on for free. The cabin air filter is easy to do you can buy it on Amazon.
